Does it work like a break light. Would it be able to sense that I slowed down or if I hit the breaks?

No, since it has a remote to control the light. Ride safe always ☺️

If you have the one that says “Brake Version” on the side of the box. Like the one in the video it does flash when you start to slow down or stop. Mine came in the same box, has the same writing on the right hand side of the box and definitely flashes noticeably when you slow down considerably or stop.

Do you know of any that would work on the edge of a rear rack ? I only see these type of ''auto motion sensor brake lights'' on CZcams being demonstrated on
seat post, but if you have cargo on the back of a rear rack, that often obstructs any rear tail light or brake light on the back of a seat post
