Sharur with beard isn't real he can't hurt you
Sharur with beard:
Why have you betrayed me by going against your own old information. This is so sad, I am going to go cry in a corner with my ER2SE and Moondrop Quarks
i am so grateful to have a celebrity commenting on my video
Bruh we knew this was an inevitability during his Harman arc when he did a 180 on etymotic
Bebause he is always like that. In a couple of months he will change his ideas again….😂
a while ago this guy responded to a question of mine asking whether listening to music at a (classical) concert is better than listening to a recording. He basically said that at a concert people mess up but a recording is free of mistakes, a completely different take from what he is showing in the video(if I understand what he's saying correctly).
He is just a sad, little human being... Why do you think he has so few subscribers although he has more than 300 videos some of them with over 50k visualisations? He is very rude and arrogant and very often not bright at all.
The fidelity of the real event is often much worse than recorded music. Live concerts often have horrible sound quality, be it at small venues or huge stages, a great studio recording is often much better.
THANK YOU!
All these "audiophiles" talking about how they wish they just had a live performance in their room....
I'm always like, "did we go to the same concerts?".
I don't get it, literally EVERY concert I've ever been to, many of the artists performed worse and FOR SURE 100% of them the sound quality was several orders worse than their records.
I've even seen audiophile darlings like Norah Jones and she it objectively sounded worse than her albums.
The leveling and mixing is usually poor and too loud.
Concerts are for the communal participation, not the sound quality.
that's for other reasons
@@Sharur1 For whatever reason, it is simply true. The more I become an audiophile, the less I like live concerts, with the exception of classical ones.
What is 'real' sound really? A concert or a studio recorded session? Does a concert really show the best possible music that a particular band or a singer can produce?
@@afraza5946 that is what I am saying, usually live concerts don't have very good sound quality, and in the studio you don't have access, furthermore many parts only ar produced in mixing and mastering.
When some revolutionary innovation comes, will it hit true wireless before iems? We win either way.
Headphones are dead and stagnant. Let's take a moment of silence. 🙏
Jabra is discontinuing production of IEMs?! It's the end of IEMs as we know them, what ever will we do now? Thank you for reporting this news to us bipolar Indian headphone and speaker (ex-earphone) man!!

iems are terrible
Your recording have such a rich texture and depth it is almost life like. I can feel your breath moving in and out as you speak.
I know right
I'd rather use my iem's plus dongle dac than over-ears, speakers, or true wireless for convenience reasons, and I own them all. Airpods and buds get lost so easily and fall out everywhere. Headphones are bulky and sweaty and get dropped by others, etc.
Exactly this. Headphones for desk, wireless earbuds for listening to videos or quick listening, iems for music and movies. Iems sound significantly better than wireless earbuds (comparing truthear novas and galaxy buds). I even do chores with iems by putting my phone in a small sling bag so the wire is no longer in the way and my phone won't be able to fall out of my pocket.
get better over ears and speakers
@@Sharur1 more like better kids. 10+ headphones destroyed.
Not very intelligent. Meet my UTWS5 connected to a Thieaudio Claivoyance.
When it comes to "realism", I see your point. However, I don't necessarily need realism in my audio, it just want it to be enjoyable. What i find to be enjoyable may or may not be realistic depending on the type of music. Does this not make me audiophile, I honestly don't really care. I would think I am an audiophile to the extent that I like music, I care about the small differences in the sound, how I can manipulate it with software, how I can hear details.
If i was seeking realism, I would certainly just go outside and listen to the natural world. But why would i want to listen to the most boring and realistic sound, or something that is less realistic but more enjoyable like the music I want.
When it comes to over ear vs iem vs speaker, ofc speakers would be best you feel it with your body, but does everyone have a villa, for themselves, how about room mates, how about staying up late, how about privacy.
Speakers and openback headphones doesn't really do these great, although closed backs can, but I tend to prefer iems to closed backs.
How about traveling? I certainly don't want to lug around headphones, and I hate batteries, you gotta charge them, they die after just a short time. IEMs are pretty durable, you don't have to worry about charging too.
Headphone have one more issue for me, the pads seems to get mushed up and i have to keep replacing them, and they also tend to get dirty. I'd rather clean a little bit of wax from silicone to having to wash the pads and keep replacing them
Also IEMs are cheaper, for the amount of enjoyability they provide.
Forgive my English I'm barely reading what i type, hopefully it is understandable
iems so dumb
Hi sharur I have wanted to ask you what do you think on the Kali LP 6 V2 studio monitors?
good for price
@@Sharur1 any good upgrade?

Bro spent 10k plus on speakers and headphones and his opinions changed real quick lol 😂
Can you get close to LCD-5 by eq-ing LCD-X?
subjective
lcd-5 weighs much less, so no
also sorry for the long ramble i wrote this after i had a thought the other day how comfort basically means jack shit to me
why not earhooks? because its heavy? it'll still perform better than xm5s
this is why, assuming the measurements are accurate, i'd take the moondrop cosmo over the lcd-5, despite being heavy af it still technically measures smoother than the lcd-5
and since the goal of an audio reproduction device is to reproduce sound, the priority is the sound. not comfort. not looks. the best headphone would still be cosmo because the quality of headphones is rated by how it sounds (and i guess u could argue leakage and reseat performance, but thats just because they directly influence the sound itself) i'd live with the obviously inferior comfort of the cosmo if it means im getting better sound
unless your reasoning for not using earhooks+novas over xm5 is because you don't wanna use iems in which case fair enough i guess
i still stumble on midwit "audiophiles" caring about comfort or picking a certain iem over the nova because of "muh comfort"
if ur a serious audiophile you shouldnt care about comfort at all, just as long as its usable, but chase the best sound quality

homies hit the 3 dots near this video and hit not interested. thank me later.

But they can sound good
My parametrically equalized iems are amazing, they are god tier just after eqing
it is impossible for them to sound good after just PEQ
@@Sharur1 well, your statement contradicts reality.
Careful PEQ done right with smoothing out completely the treble response and aligning the general frequency response to good speakers in side by side comparisons with pink noise and making sure everything is smooth.
This has consistently produced amazing results for me.
So apple’s AirPods are viable, if you value convenience over sound
air pods have super low distortion n sound great in many instances
Yes
@@Coolhand69 cool but all I care about is that I can skate in them and lift weights
@@rohdger3390 yeah u can lift weights in them but skating will be more difficult, wireless is more convenient ofc
@@rohdger3390 I skate with weird iems and its fine
Sharur truly came out the other end of the curve. My non audiophile friend says she goes to concerts for fidelity while I'm complaining about the venue being sub par. But she's right about fidelity being 100% even if it sucks.
Nice rizz beard
At the end of day, all that matter is personal preference and what audio gears you are currently enjoying. And this hobby will always be subjective.
Only thing that can beat iems are speakers.
over ears are better
@@Sharur1 bro hearted his own comment
Phone speakers, to be precise.
when i listen to kpop music in headphones its sound so bass boosted
hi sharur, good beard but im sorry, i just buy 7 truthear nova´s 1 per day for the weekend. best iem in the world end of story.
so the recently sold Nothing Ear 2024 iem, i'm discovering all my albums like new because the equalizer works fantastically for me with the new ceramic drivers.they sound better than apple or samsung will ever be and cost a fraction of the price.
Finally understand ❤.
Brother you can watch demon Slayer season 4 episode 8, great animation and BGM .
I once saw a video of yours saying that the he400se is pol. Inverted. But the impulse response graph for the same from ref. Aud. Analyser shows that it’s travelling normally…please correct me as required.
it's possible there is unit variation, with inverted being the norm. Or, they inverted it in software
After using a sony earbuds, using iem is just ask for inconvenience for that 10% sound improvement
Genuine question: how do over-ears go beyond stereo sound reproduction as found in the IEM architecture? Apart from FR and spatial information, what differences are there between speaker/monitor configurations' (IEMS, AEMs, speakers) sound reproduction?
passive soundstage
Apple literally has mics in their airpods that equalize them to your ear. Literally eons ahead of the rest of the industry
I farted two times
so is it safe to say that soundbars with subwoofers a decent price point are better than iems. just coz so many people dont have space and know how for getting the best speaker experience. ive seen some graphs from rtings some soundbars are decently neutral from midrange to highs some even with a mic and calibration software. rip iems well still gonna use em for podcasts tho and passive ambient noise reduction.
Accurate representation of stereo imaging is, to my knowledge, not achievable with soundbars. If one cares about high fidelity stereo sound reproduction, two high quality loudspeakers physically separated, equidistant to the listening position are required.
This is some military grade autism. That said, I just got the Nova to try and holy shit Harman is beyond mid. Technically they seem good, but the tuning is trash. Works with some pop etc tracks kinda fine, but horrible with anything more refined.
that's an iem issue
In-ear monitors are designed for in ear use, unlike headphones where as those are meant to be worn on your head with it's driver cups over your ears or on the ears.

Best true wireless earbuds review soon?
A whole video of rambling, yapping with no real reasoning why "IEMs are dead". True wireless market is overcrowded with a lot of competition from highend and lowend, Jabra couldn't differentiate it from others and fell behind. if IEM were dead we would not see a lot of IEMs coming out (especially wired ones), people still buy them in the masses, and in some aspects IEMs can be better than headphones. But we all know you have to shitpost, so yeah - another typical Sharur video I accidently came across.
they are near the beginning of the decline stage
the fidelity of real event or the real world according to ur say, it doesn't matter cuz it cannot be controlled, or role it, seeying what u want to see, hear what u want to hear, that's matter in terms of fidelity because u will never see such things in real world, nd no grass isn't an example, people walking isn't too nd the list goes on
?
actually instead buying an xm5 you should just buy a true wireless earhook with ur novas Bruh

When he-1 review
So i will sell all my audio gear and use the money to acoustic concerts
What is the purpose of wearing headphones when you are obviously not conversing with another person?

Sharur 1 year later: Yeah actually this iem is better than speakers and hearing outside like why would you go outside if i can put vr and listen to this iems and like the air is always contaminated so there's no point on doing that

one of the rare times i kinda agree with you, real life > speakers > headphones > iems in that sequence. The only bad thing with live concerts and what not is that they are still using speakers and that the loudness will literally give you hearing loss.
This video is completely pointless ranting, completely lost as to why you made this.

Brain rot now gone 😂
"At the end of the day, Oratory1990 found out that the LCD-5 headphones are trash, with a 75/100 Harman rating." Or: "One looks like a Martian and the music sounds like it's from the wrong planet."
the irony of this statement is that oratory is not even a harman trained listener like me. And that score is meaningless since I EQ them
