yes i had fsr and frame gen on and got crashes constantly when i got on helicopters.
my specs 5800x3d, 3060ti, 32gb 3600 cl16 ram. i ended up going with dlss and using performance preset getting 60-75fps while playing, sucks but at least its not crashing as much.

I've found that fullscreen instead of windowed full screen for some reason gives me a extra 10-15 fps. I have a 3080. Anyone else?
Full screen always gives me better fps but I do have a 2060 super

I can get 60-70fps in the base area, but once I leave that area it's drops to an awful 20-30fps. And the latency issues get me killed in basic gun fights against NPC's
but for some reason if i have 3840x2160 i have less FPS if i have 2460x1440 any idea why becous my monitor is 3840x2160

i have an nvidia card but strangely no DLSS option for anti-aliasing. another odd thing, intels XeSS is the only one that looks good to me. the others generate small blurry spots that pop in and out. they only disappear in XeSS..
Ive been looking at a bunch of graphic settings videos and this one is by far the best great job with it. My 4080 laptop was getting really bad performance. something i have seen is 40XX serries should use dlss and all that rather than FSR but everything below needs to use FSR.

I have a similar system except 13700K + 32Gb RAM and average 100fps DLSS Quality on all medium, 135fps with FSR w/o frame gen (1440p, same scene). That's a crazy difference, maybe recording didn't help?
Any idea why FSR causes my game to crash every time I hop on a helo? I'm running a 3080ti
ARMA was a different issue. That was 4-core CPU frequency dependent. At least, from what I read, that was because the game engine could only utilize 4 cores and when you start adding a lot of AI, the CPU requirement would go up drastically, along with RAM... to some extent.
Anyone else having issues with the clouds. I am running a 3080 on low settings but notice a grid pattern in the clouds sometimes which drives me a little crazy
my FPS went to 80 tnks you i am running Radeon 6750 XT 12gb and its working great only think I noticed is its really hard to see in the distance like trying to spot players or NPC bots.

Been using your quest guides and this video is a banger. Went from 135 to 260 FPS on a 4080
no matter what i do in settings i still cant play this game, constant ue5 error code crash. i have a i9, 4080, and 32 gb of ram. ive done every suggested tip from allowing in firewall to running as admin. another issue i have is on startup i get "video card does not have enough memory..." and i have set manual values for them and still have the issue. idk what to do anymore because my friends are having none of these issues and i cant play with them.
Did you check to make sure you have the latest driver downloaded? I was having issues on my 4090 and it’s been almost flawless since I downloaded the most recent GPU driver. You could also do a clean install to wipe everything that existed before. I’m no expert, but I know the struggle man.

anyone have a fix for AMD gpu users? I have a brand new 7900XTX RED DEVIL liquid cooled GPU. Driver is up to date. Issue I am having, is i can get the game to launch and play but after about 10-15 mins of playing, it says that UNREAL engine has crashed and my adrenaline software for my gpu says my driver has timed out. Is there a fix for this because IM LOVING THIS GAME! ITS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!

Enable Hardware Acceleration via windows "graphics" settings - restart required.

Strange... I have rtx 3070ti and a i7 9700k.. set to dlss quality and a mixture of low and medium with foliage being high I'm getting between 60 and 70 fps on 1440p..
You dont need to put down textures if you have a decent card. Just turn down shadows and reflection aswell as game illumination and foliage those are the most fps heavy settings. Now DLSS or another upscaler is also a good choice. Its playable at 55-60 on my 3060 12GB but sometimes it loads in some stuff and fps drop down for a bit.
if i use my anti aliasing my fps drops mad, so i just use post processing with sharpnes, and fixing the brightness and contrast from there, but i use lowest on anti aliasing fsr
I was looking so much towards playing this game and watching the streams it seemed very fun, however it's not fun trying to play when i'm getting 20 fps with stutters, unfortunate.
is there anyway to fix the issue with textures not loading in at all? like my character and everything looks okay in the main menu but the second i load in it all just looks like placeholder textures

Kind of lucky I bought a 4060 a few months ago, for dlss3+frame gen. It makes it playable at least. 70/100 fps.

any rtx 2050 laptop users here? I was very excited to play this game but when I saw the steam reviews and discord discussions, people with 40 and 30 series card are having graphics problems. Did anyone who has a rtx 2050 or a rtx 20 series laptop bought this game? If yes then can someone please tell me the benchmarks and fps they are getting?
I have the same gpu but a 12700k cpu and i play on epic and stay around 50-60fps if i go back to 2k its about 80-90fps

Has anyone notice the Input lag when using FSR? having your game lag behind your mouse is just bad for a FPS shooter.
Why does FRS throw off my input and sens like lots of input lag
FSR is unplayable for me. Frame generation is helpful, but my input lag is atrocious. I'm basically trying to play on a rig that's MAYBE slightly about minimum specs though. Old 8700K @ 4.8ghz, 32GB of DDR4 and a RTX 2080.
I can only play on LOW settings across the board. DLSS and ULTRA performance. This gives me in the neighborhood of 35-45 fps with terrible pixilation, due to a 33% resolution.

if you're having crashing issues with FSR, turn off hardware acceleration on windows settings. I would crash every other run just flying in the on LZ.. I no long crash since i've turned off hardware acceleration.
Im running a an i9-9900k and 2070 and the only way I can get a smooth experience is with DLSS > Auto, with FSR I lag a lot

I have a similar system and that was my same case. Was running about 65 fps most the time. But there were huge lag spikes at random.
Not sure, but all I can say i wasnt noticing anything. Actually after the last update tho I'm running FSR on Performance with Frame Generation off since that's whats causing the lag for me.@@D3LTA69

Frame gen in a 4050 i get 75ms on avrtage pc latency. If its off its at 50. Cod is 15ms and 30 ms. Game needs some optimization.

my problem is: i am getting hardly 60fps in the base and the near perimeters, as soon as i get deeper into the world the more fps drops i get… i really hope this will get better performance wise… i dont want do buy a new pc 😅
I mean you did these optimizations at the base which has higher fps than the towns. As soon as ypu got the first town frames will drop and also when scoping.

Can confirm DLSS frame gen is amazing, little to no difference in latency in this game, where as in cyberpunk its very noticeable.

I'm having a cpu temperature issue, I have a i9-12900kf with a noctua nhd15 cooler, have never had issues with temps in any game. Even in escape from tarkov i never touch 70. In this game I'm sitting at 75+ with it spiking between 85-100 during chopper rides and being in the starter town. I know the 12900kf does run hot, but this is insane. Anyone have similar issues/know a fix? Or should I wait till the optimize this more?
I’m on 7950x sits around 65 any other title loading in games can spike to 75 in this game loading in 90 degrees and same in chopper 85/90 and its water cooled lol

I am in the same boat, 10900K at 5Ghz, 3080Ti and easily getting the same frame as yours. Not sure what the Op in this video is doing i.e. 45 FPS on 3080Ti? Not happening..
My RAM is super low latency so that might help because this game is CPU bound (4000Mhz, CL14 DDR4 RAM here..)
Also the OP is running 4 sticks for RAM so he probably get terrible performance, I would be amazed if he reached XMP timings with 4 sticks.

I'm sorry, but how can you say you need to run on FSR if it completely breaks PiP sights and makes everything a blurry mess? DLSS runs way more stable and has nearly next to no frame drops, where FSR is like watching a 50's movie.
You use Amd super resolution and and game fsr quality it stack, the game runs a solid 83-93 and you overclock the gpu, specially the vram. Currently using 7900GRE
Epic set, 7600x for cpu
5950x, 64GB RAM, Game on M.2 4080 Super getting 150+ FPS on Epic but game is very choppy and rubberbanding and player stopping and starting with movement
4:46 frame generation adds a lot of input lag which sort of cancels out the benefits of the added frames. Test it yourself and see what feels better guys.
Not just input lag, but for me, it adds a type of motion blur that just can't be ignored. It's worse than the motion blur setting at max, and it creates the blur effect at any mouse movement. No mouse movement, and everything looks decent with about a 20-25fps increase. That's essentially worthless, though :/

4070 witha 3700X and DLSS with frame gen, i get 100fps standing still, 75 is the lowest on the chopper. All high settings 1440p

Bought it yest and had no crashes or smth like that. Only is a fps problem but it is just optimization bug. Actually a good realistic game for 2-4 players squad perfomance.
I gained like 20 frames from putting my DLSS on performance and cranking the sharpness to 100
I was able to pull a stedy 100 fps with this set up
Ok so maybe I'm missing something but I have a 3080 and I run the game at around 80/90fps stable with just a few settings on low (shadows and global illumination) and DLSS on quality. I don't understand how your frames are so much lower than mine and you have a better setup than mine.

The problem is your 20 series or 6XXX AMD GPU won't help you you with optimizing the game. 30 series cards and 7XXX AMD GPU's have very reasonable prices nowadays.

My game wont stick to 60fps. When i set FSR on it goes to 114fps but GPU usage goes to 98%
The GPU being at 98% is fine. It's using its full power to give you full results. You payed for 100% of the card, you should use 100% of it

Have a 4090 with i9 7940X at 4.08 GHz. On epic without frame generation I was getting 45-50 FPS @ 4K. Frame Gen on and I get 90 FPS. Crazy LOL
i have a 3080 ti Zotac amp holo gpu and an Amd Ryzen 9 7950 x 3D cpu and 64 Gb Ram and with fsr (thx for the tip) i have 130-150 FPS :D
Literally refunded, my i9-9900, 32GB Ram, 3060ti isnt enough... Maybe buying later when the optimization will be fixed, this is literally unplayable on DLSS 40fps, with FSR 80fps, still not enough... as the game stutters all the time anyway... I need at least 120fps.

I have a 3060, 40 fps, 50 tops on low settings. I tried to tweak each setting but didn't get more than 40 consistently. I hope for an optimization patch, but realistically, I don't think we'll get something outstanding as they say it's only 30% of the game content rn. On the other hand, it's not tarkov so it's mostly tactics is what really matters and not movement, in this perspective 60 persistent fps with good enough graphics and visibility will do for me

Good video.. 2 things, fps isn’t an issue in the game, the issues are the terrible server side issues that make this garbage can unplayable.
Not to mention the shadow bug that randomly pops up.
Might be a decent game in a couple BIG updates
Fsr made characters look blurry from afar. DLSS was far cleaner, and better feeling for me. Running a 3070

Frame Generation is pretty bad. It's not really worth playing with it on.
