I think we’re underselling Kayo here. Combined with sova dart/drone, kayos knife makes anchoring a site super difficult, and with a few lineups his flash will be elite
I wish TMV wouldve mentioned what he reckons the meta comp will be overall (In pro level) He said that he thinks double controller will be strong, but also that sova is very strong, and that jett is strong too. So meta might be a no flash comp? Jett, Sova, Cypher/KJ, Astra/Harbour, Viper I cant see no sentinel comp happening because theres too much potential for lurks
Iso is an anti-op agent both his wall and shield will help him survive against an op. Imagine popping shield and then ulting their operator using Jett/chamber they have no shot.
Gotta love a map with a lot agent diversity but it does seem the Controllers are the most interesting class here where double controller is needed not out of strategy but necessity cause the dome smokes don't really work on this map that well
My take on every agent: Breach is better than you said because he can stun off all the ops Fade good but not as good as sova Gekko pretty decent cuz he can plant in dangerous places and defuses in a spam map Kayo mid he cant scan a whole site due to how big the map is but i think he will still be viable due to his flashes being able to push off ops Skye OK, normal skye gameplay Sova meta the linups in such a big map will go crazy 😅
Kj isn’t the best due to the utility making you have to play in range, cypher just gets more info as well and lets you rotate with having utility up in case people rotate on attack and when on attack cypher can place a flank trip and lurk, cypher feels better than kj on this map ngl
I think you should have talked more about gekko on Ct because he will be good on almost every map on t but his ct is so limited especially on this map where you have 0 good info flashes
Sova has never been meta as a solo initiator. I think we've already established this is going to be a 2 controller map. So for sova to be meta we are playing either without a Duelist (like Icebox which seems unlikely because this map has actual chokes) or a Sentinel (like Bind because lurking is less of an issue generally and Viper at least until recently offered sufficient stall).
@@HighlyShifty Fade actually has a lot more area denial and suppression than Sova. For a while after she came out when you could get the dogs to hit people pretty consistently she was actually the go to solo initiator. Additionally seize + nade combo has some pretty strong synergy on that map.

He would probably need a team featuring yoru/phoenix and astra/omen to have a chance at solo initiator.

I honestly don't think duelists are gonna be needed as badly on this map, in my experience its really easy to split on b site + it just being a terrible site for a sentinel, and mid is easy to just run down as an attacker, jett is good still because an oper is nice but the map reminds me of lotus/icebox in a way with how it plays

Yoru effectively has a chamber TP when standing on an edge. Just jump off the map and tp.
