    I just grinded the drain plug on my 212 down flat to make it fit. The engine has two plugs and you don’t need both. No need to sacrifice the structural integrity of the frame of you don’t have to.

      @@aronmontes9697 the stock 3 horse will never run over 20 without serious modification your best beat if it were me is to pull the motor don't by a predator buy a tillotson 212 hemi $235 buck to your door it will be better then a stock predator and even mop the floor with a stage 2 and if you ever want to add on to the tillotson it will always be better then a predator but if that's something you don't want to do and go threw I would suggest a Coleman bt200x it's a lot better bike and easier to modify being your first bike or so speeds your wanting is doable but your going to need a higher rpm motor at least 5800 rpm a torque converter with at least an 11 tooth can still use jackshaft or clutch upgrade and a 53 toothed rear sprocket

    • @pulsetheprotogen
      @pulsetheprotogen Před 9 měsíci

      A stock tillotson will not wipe the floor with a stage 2
      It's the same as a stage one kit on a predator the I agree that they're better and a much better upgrade path but the only differences is flywheel valve springs higher flowing intake and exhaust and a reinforced block

    2 pieces of steel under the mounting holes would have brought the motor up enough to clear the drain plug.

  • @johnnyhernandez8530
    @johnnyhernandez8530 Před 4 lety +13

    They make a motor mount for them that way you dont have to drill or weld anything. It's on a tilt so that preditor 212 will fit perfectly

    You can just grind the bolt on the 212 there is another bolt behind the engine for draining oil so you really don't need the front one

    • @fatbuddycat
      @fatbuddycat Před 4 lety

      Your valves need to be relashed. Your intake valve is not opening all the way and your getting too much back pressure because the motor is not decompressing. Feeler gauge to .003 exhaust and .002 intake.

    Y'all need one of these czcams.com/video/NhFFKL1laAc/video.html . I put this on a Baja Dirt Bug and it was a total death wish. The bike now has a stock Predator 212 with a zip tie hack. I hit 45 and backed out because the brake was doing absolutely nothing. That Gx160 snapped 2 chains and finding traction under hard acceleration proved to be futile at best. I swapped it out before some got seriously hurt or worse (like dinging up a $400 race motor🙄).

  • @pittsburghrappersinger-son3544

    It would have worked better only thing you had to do is drill new holes but put the engine on while the clutch is on backwards with the chain on then drill the holes you wouldn't have to cut nothing that's what I did it works fine
