20 years??! omg I feel old. The Tony Hawk games were absolutely essential to my adolescence. 2000s skater culture raised me.
For having a small subscriber count, this video is not only extremely interesting, you also put it together fantastically.

1 WEEK??? Wow, man! Crazy impressive work! I worked on these games way back when, and the thought of all of this being put together in a week blows my mind! Oh, and as a bonus, that AI upscale at about the 6 minute mark actually restored the "missing" photo (guy on the left) to look like Andy Marchal, one of the artists on the team! Kind of scary! HAHAHA!
That's really interesting, maybe he did put himself in there without anyone noticing. Care to dust off any stories from back then? I'd love to hear even the mundane stuff. Neversoft never dies :)

@@Cody_Cigar Oh, we always noticed! We'd put each other in places like that on purpose to have fun with each other! Graffiti, gaps names, posters, in-game characters, all over the place. The team was awesome and we had a lot of fun. You have to, to stay sane when you're crushing out a new and bigger game every year.

This is actually pretty awesome, THPS1+2 was great but the idea of a THUG1+2 remake would be even better. Seeing as those were the games I grew up with. So I Hope to see more progress on this in the future!

Unfortunately THUG 2 has Bam Margera as the centerpiece, a man they want so little to do with that they removed from the game's cover in the THPS remakes. Unlikely it will ever get remastered just for that.
@@Makin-I’d be down for the remake to just tweak the dialogue and say its the Jackass crew and in each place where Bam shows up, its a different Jackass crew member. They could rerecord the dialogue and just have the script say their name instead of Bam’s. Additionally, they could add in the extra content from THUG 2 Remix.

"How I made a scuffed THUG level in 1 week UNREAL ENGINE" should have been the full title, I was thinking this was going to actually be a full redo of the game like the dude who took his time and remade Simpsons hit and run in Unreal Engine 5. looks good but put a bit more work into it and you actually have an amazing remade first map. I thought there was going to be full lines with reverts/pipe transfers/ grinds, and the whole 9 yards but for it being a week this is actually awesome, just being able to see the map and walk around and collect the boards and wheels was actually so nostalgic to see, I think the real mission that would have caught most peoples attention is the whole car mission, just the aspect of being able to skitch onto the back of the car as it drives or racing around even if you weren't actually able to cross the bridge, either way insane stuff.
Give the guy some more time maybe he will keep working on it

Wow man respect. This was such a huge game to my friends and I when were 11 years old. This came at the perfect time as we all started skating too. I think I played this game at every friend gathering/sleepover for the next 3 years haha atleast until THUG2 took over but we all agreed THUG1 was the better story.

This is amazing! And honestly after watching the entire process... The sound effects while collecting/completing were the absolute cherry on the cake! I feel like if you could do this in a week, then there should 100% be room for profit if a mega corp threw some cash at this! Can't wait to see more! :)
