- Among others, for me this is the best Werewolf transformation.
Enjoy.
EDIT - new favourite people but in a low quality i'm afraid, enjoy in the mean time - • Favourite Werewolf Tra... - Krátké a kreslené filmy
they're called lycans, the next evolution of werewolves, they're faster, stronger, have full control when turned and can transform at will
But they dont look as cool sadly i prefered the werewolf in Van Helsing, strong athletic and great sound effects are my favorite genre of werewolf
Exactly I preferred van helsing
Werewolves are stronger plus their are close to William plus their rage
Ohhhh yeah
The lycans are werewolves. Just a different generation.
When Raze is transforming into a werewolf, and becoming even more deadly than he already is...you don't flail around your weapon! You RUN!
Shaleen Dalal raze is a lycan not a werewolf...
unless your name is Viktor
Yeah the Vampire was dumb as fuck, and it was cheesy.
Why do you think he was wearing the whips? Of all weapons and firepower they manufacture too? Asshole was waiting for a chance to kill one himself
Kevin Grevioux, the werewolf Raze in this scene, wrote the story for Underworld. And his voice is actually as deep as it sounds in the movie. Check out an interview with him.
Raze is awesome..wish he had his own movie...this is also my favorite! Good stuff
Man I love this transformation, compared to all the others I've seen this has to be the best.
The man is big enough already and now he becomes a god damn werewolf...does that wipe guy really thinks hes ganna win with string....
The main difference between a werewolf and a lycan is that lycans are fully aware of their actions in wolf form. Werewolves were almost entirely animalistic, although William did recognize Marcus even after hundreds of years of imprisonment. Also, the second generation also recognize Lucian and the other Lycans as being their own brethren, but they couldn't stop from attacking humans or vampires.
All of this info is valid only in the Underworld universe.
I never understood why the vampires always let the lycan's change into their stronger werewolf forms. Wouldn't it make more sense to attack them as they're changing?
Gigawatts Maybe more honerable to them ?? Sorry i know this was 5 years ago i have no life .. ill see my way out . 🤔
plot armor
They don't run for 2 reasons 1 in there eyes they fight and win or die trying and 2 warrior vampires don't fear death
Same reason why people have standoffs, to piss on their enemy and showing that they’re not wimpy but above everything they are
I personally like when movies make it look like the persons bones are really reconstructing themselves. More "realistic".
now this is what a werewolf should be like
*lycan
this my favourite transformation aswell. love the werewolves in underworld.
Seriously... Underworld is one of the oldest werewolf movies I enjoy and look at how badass the transformation animations are to this date?
Still no movie has topped that transformation scene.
hope werewolfes in Skyrim would transform their self like this
another good one, good stuff
definitely some of the best werewolf (lycan) transformations in this movie. Makes New Moon look like the Care Bears.
Those books are freaking amazing!!! I've read the whole series like 4 times!!! It would be ace if the vampaneze were replaced by werewolves though lol.
Man imagine one fight between Raze vs Blade. ^.^ Epic
You sir, have never seen "American werewolf in London". As it contain the greatest werewolf transformation of all time ! (no CGI, pure acting + technical effects). Look it up "American werewolf london transformation scene".
And you, sir, have probably not seen the transformation of Uncle Ted in the movie "Bad Moon." In my opinion, it was the finest werewolf transformation achieved in Hollywood thus far.
Van gelding is better
I meant van helsing
American Werwolf in Paris had better werewolf transformation, but the Underworld series have the best Werewolves EVER.
American werewolf transformation takes forever and is just disgusting.
Absolute horror and shock? I know I'd be rooted to the spot watching that. *shudders* I like the ones in An American Werewolf in London, too, but the one in The Howling scarred me for life! Those seem realistic FX work... this is a little too much CGI. Interesting, but not truly horrific.
it's the UK way of spelling it lol.
I love the werewolf transformation!
Oh well anyway, Lycans are still far more awesome than those stinky vampires. And they own them in hand to hand combat everytime.
HOLY CRAP THAT LOOKED AWESOME
NOW THATS A WEREWOLF
Black guy: though
Werewolf: impressive
Black guy werewolf: were all damned
❤ ❤ ❤
American Werewolf in London has the best werewolf transformation, and it's all done with practical effects.
In my personal opinion, An American in London had the best werewolf transformation when the guy turns into a werewolf in the light of the living room and you see his hands feet, and face stretch. You really do feel sorry for the guy cause he looks like his in so much pain.
that vampire was asking to get his ass killed!! good job Raze
when raze gets hit by the whip it shows scares on both side of his cheeks look closely at raze's face after he was hit.
Oh please, a lycan can break a vampire like a twig.
that was awesome ^_^ I don't know how he did it but awesome
the transformation from "Wolfman" looked more realistic but theres about 3 years seperating these movies so yea for its time this was best of the best
awesome lycan
I think this is better than your new favourite transformation
hahaha puny mortal, waving around his whips, you are no match for the power of a lycanthrope!
That's what Selene said. She lacked some information about the past. :D
What's suprised me is that in the 3rd film raze was able to maintain control during a full moon despite being newly turned, maybe Lucian taught him how to control it when they set up camp? 🤔
Of course he whips the black dude with a whip......
Ah the good old days,
LOL you know ive seen this movie like 10 times and never thought of it like that
lol this is like the worst monster fight ever. "STAY BACK I HAVE WHIPS' *slaps the werewolf* "STAY BACK YOU BRUTE" *Slaps him another time making the werewolf dude transform* "ohh help" *werewolf about to bite* "EHHHHHHH!!!"
you could have shown the part were his whip gets caught xD
fricken LOVE this film!!!!
xXx
Underworld pissed me off so bad, the third one was great and the best... then the second one.
Awesome.
The werewolf transformation scene in The Monster Squad puts this scene to shame.
Vampires call them beasts and animals, but Lycans, the modern ones are fully aware of their actions in wolf form.
Lycans are the best, what a fast and nice Tf.
@TheMutt100 He's a werewolf. A lycan is simply a werewolf that has evolved i.e. can control his transformation and is no longer ruled by the moon curse. In Underworld Lucien was the first in the lineage of werewolves to evolve.
Rip lucian he was one of a kind
The transformations in "The Howling" and "An American Werewolf in London" (both released in 1981) put this to shame.
I love the interest of this werewolfs for their jackets.
The black guy here looks like just a muscle bound Hollywood extra right? Wrong...he has a degree in Mircobiology and was working on his Masters in Genetic Engineering.when he decided to give it all up to try his hand at acting. He was also one of the people to work on and come up with the idea for this movie Underworld. He met the movies director while the two worked on Stargate(tv show) and they worked on the movie script together.
Those whips are laced with silver essence. Thats why it hurt so bad
Werewolf In London trumps this by a mile.
I might be a minority on this but CGI just doesn't do anything for me. It's not that their bad, but there's just no threat from it. The 1941 Wolfman, American Werewolf in London, The Howling, the prosthetics in Ginger Snaps etc all look great to me because there's actually something on screen and a mystery to them. Plus I just feel that having them be a blend of human and wolf makes them look more monstrous and supernatural as opposed to mainly a big wolf. I like the design on these though.
He can't do that because if he did it wouldn't be as cinematic. Also I think it was also a battle of the wits, the vampire was sizing him up and preparing himself mentally.
i concur Quadamag!
Lucians transformation in Underworld three is my favorite by far.i love that entire scene!
I was just going to comment on your other vid that I liked this guys transformations best. The one at the beginning of the movie and then this one.
I LOVE WEREWOLVES 🖤🌕🐺
This short scene makes me feel like a bit of a tool for ignoring the underworld movies.
the awil is a first time turn. this guys got control of his turning. theres a big difference between the 2. good they both are this is just a much more superior sense of it! i bet it takes years to learn to go with the pain and learn to enjoy it! awsome!
An impressive display of raw, feral power. Too bad the vampires lack a corresponding ability to reshape themselves into humanoid bats. Such a change would make the fight less one-sided and more interesting....
AlienatingPredation Well that's what Van Helsing did. And goddamn did it pay off.
It is said in the series that the Lycantropy virus was much more potent than the vampire virus.....If the vampire virus was stronger, maybe we could've got half human/half bat winged ferocious vampires...
Dhan umm correct me if I’m wrong here but doesn’t Marcus end up as a bat vampire Lycan werewolf hybrid thingy?
thanks ^^
..jus saw ur new favorite werewolf transformation. Thats a good one! its my favorite. Rhona Mitra in Underwolrd 3 smokin Hot.
yea man this is the best
@itsaraversscene its the fact that he was one of the original slave drivers in underworld 3, so those are his favorite weapons, it just happens the guys is black, but it is kinda ironic
the best werewolf transformation scene is still american werewolf in london. and that was made in 1981. amazing.
You are right, partially. The first generation lycan, William, and the second generation, the ones bitten by William, had much more lupine aspect and were indeed called werewolves. Lucian was the only one of the third generation and the first TRUE Lycan, born from a second generation female. The forth generation, like Raze and most of the Lycans in Underworld, were 4th generation, being the ones turned by Lucian or other, older 4th generation Lycans. Michael was a 4th generation Lycan at first.
he should have laced his whips with silver.
Lucian had the best Lycan transformations in the series.
i love that transformation!!
My favorite is Michael's transformation
The reason this lycan (Raze) transformation was smooth is because he's been a lycan for hundreds of years, he's used to it and happens more naturally. When Michael starts transforming (in the car) it takes longer because it's his first time. The VH werewolf was kinda lame. Their fur was under their human skin... wtf... it looked kinda corny when they began to peel it off and stuff. Also, Hugh Jackman's werewolf poofed in and out within 2 seconds in the final fight scene.
I Like The Lucian werewolf, but i like this guy a bit more!
just awesome
if you pick a favorite, then you have to separate the transformations, makeup driven, and digital. i can agree this is a terrific cgi transformation, but watch 'an american werewolf in london' or 'the howling' to see groundbreaking makeup driven transformations
Well at the end of the day his way of waiting for him to transform into the werewolf didnt really work out for him did it now....
The moral of the story: Whips may look cool and badass but will probably backfire on your ass when you find out just how impractical they are for combat...
its because that black dude was already half werewolf looking to begin with lol
from what film did you take that part???
yeh American werewolf has an awesome transformation, my only complaint was the werewolf o.o it's a big dog, still nice though ^_^
Facts I watch underworld just for this part ✅✅
It'll hurt as much as a normal guy getting hit, so it would work
you're totally right. I knew it, too because I've seen the movie before but I don't even know why I said that.......I apologize. I wasn't thinking straight.......
wicked! this is my favorit now too!!!
yea but it never showed wat they did with there pants ;P lol i wonder if raze took the time to un zip his jeans nd fold them neatly off in the corner XD any badass moive nd transfromation also the 3RD moive looks kick asssssss^ ^!!!!!!!
he beats the shit out of werewolves when he is in human form.
Now would be a good time for the whip guy to run...
Vampires in this movie are cool, but werewolves are in one of their best incarnations.
@lolSonicX That black guy you're talking about is Kevin Grevioux, the original mind behind Underworld
Quadamag3 has never seen "The Howling". Eddy Quist transformation is that movie was by far the best.
"Let me give you a piece of my mind..."
Cool
@XChronicHash he didn't die he carried lucians dead body off somewhere at the end
LOL!!! Damn that transformation was fast!!! I barly saw anything, just joking. But MY favorite transformation of all time is The Howling, Because I like slow transformations and I also love for them to be very painfill!!! But that's just me.
Those had better be some damned good whips, otherwise that guy's dead meat!
An American Werewolf in London is *the best* considering how they did it. Not that this isn't great, but they can do so much now, it kinda makes it easier.
I love Underworld. I can't wait for a third movie! :)
It's too bad the big bad wolf got choked out by an old man.
You are right. But bear in mind that we are talking about TRUE lycans, like Lucian, Raze and all the other modern ones, that have shorter snouts. The first ones, like William and the ones bitten by him were indeed sometimes called werewolves. Now these ones were almost entirely beyond control and were indeed almost fully animalistic. However, William recognized Marcus almost immediately after Marcus talked to him and the ones in Underworld 3 accepted Lucian and the other Lycans as their brethren
@ganmystique question do you think that there are REAL LYCANS out in the world or do you not
UNDERWORLD OWNS
Technically, Lycans are still Werewolves in the Underworld universe, as Lucian was born to a Werewolf female. They are classified as 2nd Generation Werewolves, with William's spawn being 1st Generation.
It's pretty much evolution, as the 1st Generation (The ones he bit or the ones bitten by a William spawned 'wolf) were unable to take human form again after the transformation.
