I love rinseless washes but i still rinse the car first personally and even add an APC pre-treat sometimes. I don't even use regular shampoo anymore.
Great video, Bruce!
Thank you! You’re my hero 😏
Thanks for the video.
Your last point is so so true. I'm new to and experimenting with rinseless. When to prewash, when to not. And i commented to someone that i was getting withdrawal symptoms from not using a wash mitt in a bucket of soapy water! Funny the things you miss.
Cheers for your video
Definitely understand! Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and to share your experience.
I am a Rinseless fan. Nice video!
Thanks so much. Glad you enjoyed it.
I bought some and used it the first time last week. I like it a lot, it hasn't de throned my Opticoat No rinse yet though 😀
There are so many good rinseless products now. I’ve always used ONR, then Absolute, then RRW, and I have Armour Detail Supply’s Hero waiting for my first use. Then I’m done….I really like to stick with something so I can get comfortable with it and find how it works best versus trying everything that ever comes out. Thanks for watching!
@@Bruce-Weinbergmake an update video 😄
What would you like to see in an update?
That is so true I have been using the ONR and there ONR sponge and as I said I definitely got scratches, the same as you before using it again I’m going to power washer rinse and not use the sponge.
Are you using a grit guard in your wash bucket? I haven’t experienced any scratching with a sponge designed for rinseless washing.
I’ve never noticed scratches from using the sponges. I always use a grit guard though. The sponges make the wash go faster.
Good video. I live in an apartment so I mainly do rinseless washes 90 percent of time. I wanna try out that product. I normally use P&S Absolute.
I have also traditionally used Absolute. Honestly, I think both products seem pretty close to me. I appreciate you watching.
When the car is dirty enough, I still do a foaming prewash with the foam cannon and then rinse it off with the pressure washer. Then apply my rinseless presoak with a second foam cannon (which foesn't foam,) it is just a fast way to get rinseless on the car and to displace any hard water on the surface. Then I do my rinseless wash in the garage. Still saves time by not having to rinse after.
Nice! I definitely think pre-wash is helpful when the car is a bit dirtier. However, rinseless wash can do a nice job even with moderate soiling. Thanks so much for watching.
What dilution do you put the rinseless in the foam canon at?
I did 1:256! I only put 1 gallon of water and 1/2 oz of Rrw.
You can do foaming when you use rinseless. I only use rinseless and I pretreat and prerinse all the time. The term rinseless refers to the final rinse.
Unfortunately the only rinseless that I’m aware with foaming capabilities is DIY. There may be others, but Rrw, ONR, & Absolute do not foam at all, regardless of the mechanism of application. Tell me about what product(s) you have used that foam. Maybe I’ll be converted! Thanks so much for sharing your experience and watching.
@@Bruce-Weinberg Use other products during the foaming step.
Yes but then you need a pressure washer or at minimum a hose if using a pump sprayer. Most soaps or snow foams don’t rinse easily.
@@chrisbradley3224 Yep, never said you didn't.
@@britishrocklovingyank3491 I get what you're saying but I don't know if I find there to be much point in rinseless washing if you are already going to use a hose or pressure washer.
Oh you see I think it’s more fun. I can’t be bothered pulling everything out all the time and making a mess. I’m over the snow foam.
Nothing wrong with that! Rinseless does make it easy and quick.
I just want to say I love the Rinseless Wash but the sponge is not safe to use on a car it will trap dirt in it and it will scratch the paint, I was told that many years ago to not use a sponge on your car paint and it is true today. I tried it and I taught with the new technology it may work wrong,I keep my vehicles in excellent condition and i followed the instructions and it put scratches on my vehicle and my friend had the same thing happen, Rinceless Wash good stay away from the sponge my opinion.
The sponge that I used was created specifically for use with rinseless wash. It is different than a traditional sponge and I’ve had no issues with it - but of course you should use what works best for you. Some people prefer to use microfiber cloths or a microfiber wash mitt, but The Rag Co. Ultra Black Sponge has been good for me.
I think Bruce means the Rag company not the Rage lol I use a cordless washer with the take up hose dunked in the rinseless bucket then just spray whole car with it as a prewash
Oops. My iPhone always autocorrects Rag to Rage?? Good catch 🧐
I've done 20+ rinseless washes on a black BMW with the Ultra Black Sponge and have no marring that I can identify is from washing.
You have to use a sponge specifically made for rinseless. Use very little pressure, you won’t scratch anything.
