The Range Rover sport has always been my dream vehicle , but this just may take its spot cuz this is one good looking suv. Coupe suvs aren’t usually my thing but audi cleaned it up with this q8.

@@martonvarga1926I would never own one to tell you but I live in Windermere Florida, they’re a very common car here, they’re junk that’s why these rich folks just lease them, & I know 5 people that own them not just the bases but the SV autobiography’s lwb’s they’re all junk. Nobody I know that owned one ever kept it for more than 2-3 years, and if we’re talking the older mid 2000’s ranges I used to work a car dealership I can’t tell you how many first gen 7 series, 2nd gen Audi a8’s and Range Rover were bought and returned because they constantly broke and the bills were too high for them to pay so they had to give the car back and default. And if you go the the 90’s RR the P38 is literally one of the most unreliable range rovers of all fucking time😭, dozens of CZcams videos about it. You really think a Range Rover engine will out last Audis ol reliable 3.0T engine that’s been out with a reliably track record since 2013. That’s hilarious
@@martonvarga1926 why would I buy a car that I’m saying is unreliable, lmao I know many RR owners/people that owned them, even guys with SV Autobiography’s, they lease them for a reason, the gen before the L332’s are unreliable,I worked at a car dealership in 2013 and saw those range rovers bought and returned like clockwork, how many do you even see on the road still from the 03-2013, The ones that are have Christmas tree dashboards I bet you anything on that lol, and the P38 Rovers are some of the least reliable cars literally ever. There’s multiple videos about on CZcams. The cars unreliable track record is literally on range rovers Wikipedia my guy, that’s not normal lol.
Beautiful vehicle you guys should review the 2024 Porsche cayenne and do a comparison with the Q8, x5, GLE, possibly the q7

Thanks guys! Having used and lived with this car for the last 3 years I would like to add my thoughts / review. This is definitely a very smooth “cruiser” and Autobahn shuttle to swallow up miles. It is most at home with a light foot and patient drive. It never felt at home trying to weave through traffic a bit when late and feels very very heavy. That makes it feel safe but like a whale. Its not a good city car and is borderline frustrating trying to run errands. When they say “executive car” they really mean the ones who are in suits and have someone else to do the costco and school run. And youre right the fuel consumption is too high and it needs to drink 91. All in all would rate the car 6.5/10 after 38,000 miles of getting to know it.

Agree on the drive perspective when I had my Q8. The V6 is strong, but it is also pushing around a 5k lb vehicle. I have since upgraded to the SQ8 with air suspension, the 4 wheel steering, and the active roll bars. Total drive transformation!! Running errands, putting on highway miles, or enjoying a bit more “spirited” driving all put a smile on my face.
What suv/Crossover would you recommend instead that is considered up to par with these modern day suvs in the competition area right now?
Probably GV70 can try to compete but as for me after 45k km fully loaded Q8 is really great car for these money, I wouldn’t say it slow or heavy with 6.0 sec to 0-100km

Beautiful vehicle. I just wish I could get the fully loaded, latest model Audi Q8 Prestige, but with the thicker rubber 20" or even 21" wheels instead of the 22"rs the website Build requires if you get the colors I prefer and/or the Black Optics or S-Line packages that I want! I live in the rougher roads of mountainy ski country and would very much benefit from that thicker rubber. It is still supposed to be an suv, afterall, they should give us these wheel options for all Build options. It's why I did not buy this in late 2021, frankly. Even the 21" wheels would have enough added rubber thickness to cause me to buy.

Looked at the Q8, very nice, comfortable and competitive. But, I found the Jeep Wagoneer with the series three option, seven passenger ability, and storage space a much more ‘practical’ buy for the price.
but the Q8 looks better :)

Will you pick this over the GLE 450 (not coupe) for a family of 4? I like the "younger" look of the Q8 though but i think the GLE has a better ride. Thank you.
As a whole package, we prefer the GLE 450
😂 2:53 i've seen a few aftermarket dynamic turn signals added to older vehicles lol and some automakers using them but none look as good as Audi

Looks decent enough but it always boggles my mind why German vehicles get such a pass. The MDX Type S has gotten all kinds of bad press from “car reviewers” who state that it is underpowered at 355 HP compared to the competition. Well this Q8 has 20 less horsepower is slower from 0-60 and loaded with the items like air suspension out prices the Type S $15K or more.
Again I like the look but the Type S would be an easy choice over the Q8 IMO. Even when considering that technically they don’t compete in the same three row luxury SUV category.
Just not a fan of this. Not a fan of most new cars of the past 5 years when I think, especially the Germans which I used to really like. The interior and styling leaves a lot to be desired, again just for my tastes. Also, the blacked out grill trend is getting old and shows no innovation at this point. I don’t hate this car but it’s just meh and blends in with the rest
