I woke up this morning feeling a bit down.. I have been a subscriber for a couple of months now and I saw you had a new video on. So I put it on and I just want to say... thank you. You are so joyful and thankful for your life. Every video you have is fun, great photography, and I have really learned a lot from you, Ace, and Me Anchient. Your family is pretty amazing, adorable kids and wife, and I really appreciate all of you sharing your lives with me. The blessings you gave those other people with sharing, how generous you are! I never thought I'd be interested in shrimping but I was totally interested and your Forest Gump impression was great😂. @@HighAdventureVideos you will get bigger and cleaner shrimp (no fish meal flavor) deep holing using your sonar at tide change going to and away from low tide. You can catch shrimp all the way until mid December when the season closes to bait only. No bait or poles needed just an 8-10 ft taped net. As the temp drops shrimp ball up prior to migration out of the marsh. You can fill your limit in a few cast vs breaking your back throwing on bait. 😂😂😂
Damn that was quite the haul of shrimp and crab. I'm sad we don't have the SS High Adventure, no more, but we can start anew with The SS High Adventure 2 hopefully we can get Ace and your old man to do a catch and cook challenge on their amazing video as always I can't wait for the next one I hope you get better

that was definatly a mantis shrimp, the ones you were thinking of are called peacock mantis shrimp (hence the colourful patterns)

Hey Micah! I think a great name for your boat would be from something you said a year ago on the video when ur crab trap got smashed up by a possible gator...you should call it "NO MEAT LEFT BEHIND", shows that you use everything u catch and keep.

You wanna keep the crabs from dropping their claws? Put them in the cold water and bring them up to a boil, at the end add seasoning just before they are done and then kill the heat, add ice and allow to soak for 45 minutes. Just trying to offer a little Cajun knowledge! Great video as usual micha!
You should call your boat the SS High and Wide Adventures.
Never forsake October and shellfish. It’s the best month of the year. August is best for jumbo shrimp but as the water cools they get freaked out for food.

The bait binder is actually boiled up shad that is caught in the gulf and along the east coast. The shad is boiled to separate the oils from it, then is dried and turned into the powder you see in the bag. Just a fun fact

Holy crimenie, what a haul
You can get you a little carabineer or some wire and tie/clip your tent zippers together while you're sleeping to keep your tent from being opened. Been doing it for years. Works really well
