I'm still doing research on my curl patterns, but so far I'm seeing 3b, 3c, 4a and 4b.. but towards the top and front of my hair from the scalp down to bout midway of the hair shaft I'm seeing more waves🤔 I'm a mutt, (I'm mixed with native American and island blood from BOTH sides of my family. More Native American from my father side) he always had his hair straight and in a ponytail, if there was any curl pattern...I didn't see it, and on my mother's side is the Dominican, west Indies, Aruba bloodline, so maybe I took an equal amount of both sides of my parents bloodline🤔 and not so much as just from one parent. So it's taking me a bit to figure out what my hair wants craves prefers and needs. But as stated in my other comment. Raw Shea butter and oils seem to be working.

Finally someone who understands! Underneath my hair is 4a and then in the front it’s 3b and in the middle it’s 3c. For the longest I thought it was due to heat damage, but after I big chopped and grew my hair out, I still had several textures. Dealing with this was really starting to frustrate me and I even thought about going back to straightening my hair. But, this video gave me the necessary motivation to continue with my curls. It is nice to know that I am not the only one.

YES. I thought I was alone in this!! so glad I'm not. The back of my hair is so much tighter like a 4b and the front is more of a 3b. it takes so much work to make it not stick out in the back. and I get comments like I dont brush my hair and I need to take car of it. my hair being dried and damaged doesnt help. everyone thought I cut my hair when it started changing and getting tighter. I cant find any of the right products for my curls and for the damage

Just want to let people know in 2024, that some people may not believe it about multitexture, but it is absolutely a thing. I believe I posted pictures the Curl Mix FB once upon a time and many people were in disbelief once they saw it for themselves. I don't use any heat, I only do wash and gos Dickey method, and I cut my hair into a taper cut a lot because length is hard to maintain when the top grows straighter and faster than the sides, it starts to look like Didi Pickles lol. But stay encouraged and just do what works best for your hair. We are all unique and there are no rules that we all need to do or want the same thing 👍🏾

It's hard to know what exactly works when I try product lines. I get so excited to see all that's out there but then I get sad soon after realizing that I get disappointed when I try a new line out. I love that CZcams has open my eyes and educated myself about hair I had no idea about. I only started learning about my natural hair maybe around 2014. Most of the products Ive tried so far just sits on the hair shafts, it beads up. So last weekend I tried natural raw Shea butter and some oils like black Jamaican castor oil, and jojoba oil. And it seems to be working, it soaked it in instead of beading up. And I put a shower cap on for the whole day so the heat from my scalp really helped. I think it helped with the fact I have multiple curl patterns.🤷🏾‍♀️🥰❤️💯😊

I have 3 distinct curl patterns 😭. I won’t even curl type it. The back is loose spiral curls, the crown is frizzy kinky waves/wavy curls and the front is extremely kinky tight curls.

Front is 3B, middle is 3A and dry and the back is 3C…natural all of my life and straightened throughout high school. I straighten it once a year if that. I know your struggle.

I think I've been doing too many tight hairstyle that mess with my looser texture because I initially thought I I was only really 4b but then seeing all the looser finer hair I'm starting to think that I need to do less tension styles and focus on hydrating more for my 4B

I have multiple textures naturally and it's driving me nuts. What am I supposed to do with my hair. Both up and down look ridiculous. Bottom back is smooth curly like baby soft and the rest is coily wavy and loose curly. Like wth am I supposed to do with that? VERY noticeable differences I can't do anything with that compliment each other.

When I look up multi textured hair on CZcams it always gives me African-American curly hair routines. My daughter is Caucasian with poker straight wavy and loose curls. I'm lost I don't know if I should follow one of these routines to make it curly or something to make it more wavy? It's not a certain texture in the front of her hair or all throughout it's literally like somebody sectioned her hair and took small pieces and straightened waved and then did loose curls all throughout her hair. Her hair is also pretty thin. Any suggestions?

Treat her hair as though it's wavey and use curly/wavey products that cater to volume and not definition or stretching. Use only in her wet hair and i recommend no more than dime amounts of product. Make sure she is taking an approved children's vitamin and just don't manipulate her hair much for 6 months. Learn about rag curls and different like protective styles that can work with her hair type so it's not manipulated every single day. In about 6months it should be doing better.

I’m 3c in the back closest to my neck, 3a right in middle of the front and 4b throughout the rest of it. I really struggle with it because my hair looks uneven when I do a wash and go Caz the curl patterns are different and so the shape of my hair is off. The back and front are longer than the rest and it’s so annoying.

  • @EversowonderfullymadeLLC

Mine 3b in the back 3a on the sides and 4a on the top and middle. All my children have every hair type of mine now. My 3rd oldest has 4a hair with some strands on 3a scatter around his whole head. My second oldest has a whole head of shiny 3a hair along with my youngest, so does he. My oldest daughter had 2c hair when she was born but over the years it’s turned in to these curls that’s the circumference of your pointer finger when moistured and my second oldest and youngest have curls as large as the circumference of of celery stick. How did this happen lol

I have 4a,4b,3c,3b hair. The looser curls are in the back while the tighter curls are on the side/front... Because of shrinkage I get this mullet type look that's so frustrating because the 3s are hanging and the 4s puffing. Sometimes family will be like oh girl your hairs uneven and they don't believe me when I tell them I just got it cut and the multiple textures just wanna look choppy. Anyone have a remedy for this lol
