Oooh big props to the person who requested this ❤ It is one of my absolute favourite Ren songs. It is just a perfect expression of agony in everything. Lyrics, singing, music, and even the video itself. And never has distortion sounded so emotional! This song is a fricking masterpiece that’s heart wrenching and stunning 🖤🐰🕳️
For REN, this was truly his reality. Ren had misdiagnosed Lyme disease for 7 years by conventional doctors who deemed him mentally ill, but when patients are experiencing neurological symptoms, they very often become misdiagnosed. Lyme disease can present itself as many neurological conditions including Acute Transverse Myelitis[3], Ptosis[4], Seizures, and Chronic Fatigue[1] and these symptoms can be often misdiagnosed or deemed psychosomatic. Second is dealing with the symptoms of Lyme neuroborreliosis, these neurological symptoms often leave patients feeling drained and debilitated as they begin losing their quality of life. Over time, patients find themselves unable to do the things they love as they struggle to get ahead of their progressing symptoms.

This is Ren at almost his sickest, very thin and fighting off psychosis. He was afraid of losing Bibi because of his illness and mental state. This is even before he had the Lyme disease diagnosis.

Bibi was Ren's girlfriend at the time and they did split (amicably) but not before she set up the go fund me that eventually resulted in Ren getting treatment for Lymes.
Sucks they split, but I'm happy she was in his life to set all that up!
