- Hi everyone! This is episode twelve (and the season finale) of my Dutch Caribbean series in which I travel to the ABC islands - Aruba, Curacao (Curaçao) and Bonaire. In this video, I take you on a silent walking tour of Kralendijk, the capital of Bonaire.
As this is a silent walking tour, you get to experience the sights and sounds of Kralendijk in a unique way as it really brings out the atmosphere of the place. On the one hand, you will hear the sounds of birds and water, but also the sounds of construction and scooters - indicative of the rapid expansion and tourism on the island.
We will walk in several areas of the town, including along the waterfront, in the town centre and in some residential parts.

Great Video, especially without needless music. I have never visited here, looks like they DELETED all of the TREES and plant life for construction. It seems it would be a hot walk there. I love some tree coverage.
Really value and appreciate your kind words! Yep, I try to keep my silent walking tours as authentic and real as possible. It is 30 degrees Celsius year-round, so yes you need a bottle of water with you at all times if you want to do a walk like this :)
Glad you are keeping the immersive silent walks on the channel too, Willie! I have to say Bonaire is probably my favourite of the three but it is difficult to choose😊. Appreciate you bringing these islands to those of us who will probably never get there!

We had explored A, B, C through cruise, loved Bonaire so much we went back for three weeks like many others we were considering how we could not return home!
I plan to go back soon, no place has compared to the water, the place and especially the people. Paradise. ❤❤❤
