Lovebites (stylized as LOVEBITES) is a Japanese all-female heavy metal band, formed in 2016 by former Destrose members Miho and Haruna. Its lineup consists of Miho on bass, Haruna on drums, Midori and Miyako on guitar, and Asami on vocals. - Zábava

Holy crap!...I think I just heard the best band in the world!
The best metal band in the world, otherworldly talent. And Miyako-chan is one of the greatest musical talents who ever lived. She writes most of their material, is a world-class pianist and world-class guitarist, and sings too. Crazy.
I completely agree with you. Miyako might be the most talented musician out there and she also plays bass pretty well. Just can't get enough of all these Japanese bands, especially all female like Scandal, Band-Maid, the new Nemophila and a dozen or two more.
@@siscob I stumbled upon nemophlia by accident and thought their new song was great. I assumed all female metal bands would still be rare in Japan but apparently not the case. There are so many. And they mostly seem pretty good. I especially like this one and the one song by Nemophila.

Journalist:: So, originally there were four of you, and then Mi-Ya (Miyako) came and joined. Now that she’s not here, you can talk about her behind her back, what has she brought to the band?
LOVEBITES: So in terms of creating music or arranging, she’s really talented in that. So in the process of creating the music, her presence is really huge. She was almost like a member even from the start.
So without her, there won’t be any LOVEBITES.
I agree with you! All of them are extraordinarily talented and skilled musicians. After I listened many songs of LoveBites, I searched information about the band and I found out that Miyako is a great piano player, she plays the piano since she was a child, then at the age of 18 she learned to play guitar before forming part of her first band (she was part of 3 bands before LoveBites) until master the guitar by herself. Also she's excellent composing and arranging songs. So for me, Miyako is the most impressive woman in the band, one of the greatest musicians in the world, a world-class musician as you well said. She's admirable and truly beautiful too :)
@@meibotori Yes, Miyako is a classical pianist, which you can see in few live songs and her posture while playing. As you said she composed and arranged 80% of Lovebites songs. She also plays bass and based on her recent IG post, drums too. On top of that she has a decent singing voice. When Lovebites started she was their backup guitarist, but obviously Lovebites wouldn't be the Lovebites we know without her.
She definitely is one of the best musicians out there right now and like you also said, she is gorgeous :)
But then again, entire band is all world-class musicians who blend in nicely together.
Gorgeous hauntingly beautiful song, minor key melody. For newbies, Lovebites is a world-class power metal style band, regardless of gender and nationality. We are so lucky to have them now.

Amazing band, superbly talented, creative, one of the best rock bands I've ever heard in 71 years of life. Love Bites is the real deal. They've become my all time favorite.

@@Bannysadkosays2u top 2 bands on the planet in their respective genres. i've bought every cd from both bands in the last 3 years after not buying new music for about the last 20 ! never thought at my age i would go nuts like this again. i now have a musical life once more

I haven't purchased anything from Lovebites yet. Is there a concert on dvd or blu ray?
@@Bannysadkosays2u one of the dvd's was part of the clockwork immortality cd but it was a special edition that came with the cd and dvd in one package. the concert is 'the daughters of the dawn' of which there are quite a few reactions from various guys. the new dvd concert is 'five of a kind' and i think is still available from their website. quite a few reactions from that concert too. both kick ass. i have all of the cd's too but now i wish i had sprung the extra bucks for the first one mentioned and that may still be available as well. and i bought all of band maid's cd's as well

Miho and Miyako are outstanding on those backing vocals. A secret weapon they should never hesitate to use again.
The piano at the beginning was epic.
Even though this is one of the slower Lovebites songs, Haruna is still going apeshit on those cymbals. She is amazing!!

It might be one of their less "metal" songs, but I'm not sure it's actually slower than usual. Miyako and Midori are both whipping up storms there, and Miho is keeping up just fine with Haruna. I think just the melody itself is slower on purpose, because Asami kicks it into high gear after the solos.
@@saiga5476 very much this. Especially in JPop and Rock softer/more melodic is often confused with slower. When actual BPMs are often pretty frigging nuts still. Sure they have faster, but this is not usually slow for them, either.

Addicted to Lovebites, since 2020. I can't stop listening, there is no bad sounds. Every new sound listened from Lovebites sounds like a new classical very good work.

The definition of UNDERATED. That girl slayed it on the keyboard. And then she plays guitar afterwards. Then do a crazy solo. While the other guitarist also played her own solo until they played in harmony. Like what the F? Why do they only have 18k views?

What ever they turn their hand to, they produce nothing but the best.
May well be that they were initially inspired by the rest of the world's achievements, but they copied and refined TV's, Cars, Motor Bike's, Hi-fi, Musical Instruments and so much more.
Now they produce a Metal Band with such incredible talent.

Besides WOW for the group - this is the 6th performance I've seen on YT... the sound is mic'd and mixed way better than other live concert videos. I felt like I was there listening to the concert. Usually the drums are not adequately mic'd but I could hear all of the drummer's playing! It is so sad when the drums are not clear for METAL music.
I believe you have watched their performance on Bloodstock, which that festival has bad audio mixing and cannot represent how good Lovebites are. The audio quality at the Wacken festival is much better btw
Kudos to the bassist and drummer too. First class band. Up there with the great bands and way better than most.

Love this song, the album it's from, and especially this concert (buy this bluray and the new one Five of a Kind as well, both are fantastic). The Clockwork Immortality album gets put down by some for not being as heavy as their first one or Electric Pentagram, and it's not, but it's still awesome.
