These turned out so cute!! I agree with regarding snow whereas the only thing it’s good for is looking at out the window and only for a day or 2 when it does happen, then I want it gone. We occasionally get snow but thankfully it’s only a few inches or less and gone quickly. Blech! Hope you’re having a wonderful snug weekend with your sweet family.

Hi Tina, We just got about 10 inches of snow in Michigan over the past 30 hours. I love it! Would much rather have the snow than the rain. Love your take on these.
It's definitely much prettier, just better viewed from indoors rather than outside!! We have had a lot of rain this week x
We are expecting 25 cm of snow tomorrow here in PEI Canada 😊 we say that if we talk about it enough it may not come, the weather here can change by the hour, all it takes is a slight shift in the wind. Love today's project! Thanks

Hi Tina, these are so cute! I have junk mail window envelopes saved, but I haven’t done anything with them. I’m going to take them out and make some of these.
When you were talking about texting and abbreviations, I had to laugh. My kids text me and use abbreviations all the time. Half of the time, I have to send them a text back asking what the abbreviation means, after I’ve wracked my brain and asked my husband what he thinks it means. Usually, we just look at each other with blank looks on our faces, then shrug our shoulders and shake our heads!! Then I text and ask what it means, feeling very dumb 🤣.
I do exactly that, stay inside, have a cup of tea, sit be the fireplace, and admire the snow from there. Especially when we got as much as we just got. Have a great weekend and hugs 🤗
Have fun with these Linda, I hadn't seen them before, they're just great. Oh those abbreviations!! Lol is about the only one I know! Haha. I'm soooooo slow when texting too. Definitely inside is the best way to enjoy the snow! You must be doing lots of that at the moment. Stay cosy x

I need to watch Rachel's video again, but I think she folded the bottom of the envelope up to the edge of the window, on the inside, so she could put the tags she made in the second video inside the pockets to show through the window.
I love how you just went off and started creating all sorts of variations of your own on the fly! 😏
I watched Rachel's video as well and yes, she folded the pocket up on the back side to put the tag in, so it would show through the widow.
Lol, I really am terrible at following instructions, can you tell? I must watch more closely next time!! x

I like how you reinforce the folds. These are cute. I'm making similar ones using the whole envelope so I can slide a card inside to view through the window.

I now open all the letters with a knife to preserve the envelopes. Rachel’s envelopes were a different shape, she has the longer thinner ones. I used the same size as you and trimmed mine down even more than you and created a new flap by folding. The pages in my journals tend to be on the smaller side.
I might have to start opening my envelopes that way too, or maybe steaming them like they do in films! Lol. It's great that they can just be trimmed to whatever size you need x
Oh we're in the North East which is probably the coldest part of England and all we've had is a dusting of snow and months and months of torrential rain! Bummer about your printer! Lol I'm always printing on the back of stuff too, save money, save trees!💖
We've had lots of rain this week too, it's been grey and miserable quite a bit. Yes, it's good to re-use our paper isn't it? x
No snow here on the Wirral where we are at sea level. I miss it as I used to live in Leeds where we were high up and the snow really lingered. It was fun when the kids were small. 😊

Love these they are so pretty. Our temp was 70 today in Southern California. I love to look at the pictures people post of the snow but not a fan to have it outside my house. I can drive for an hour and half and be in snow if I want it, and that works for me 😉😁

I live an hour south of the Canadian border...we get snow ❄ all the time. I'm pretty sick of it. Its supposed to be -22 Fahrenheit tonight before the windchill. These old bones can't handle it much longer lolol. I love the bee 🐝 paper!

i saw Rachel's video. I like the idea of leaving the large back to make a flip up. Nice. Its -30C here, and lots of snow. Its very cold, and supposed to get colder over the next couple of days.

When I was a child we had snow up to my grandparents roof! It was the winter of 77 I believe. South Dakota and the Midwest is where this took place. My grandfather shoveled every day and we had high walls of snow from the front door to the street and we were told we could play but we had to stay off the roof of the house! Crazy!!

I remember that storm! We were in town and they cleared the streets with high-lift bucket tractors and dump trucks. There was no place big enough to push it off the road.

I live in Western Australia, we have been having between 38 - 42 degrees heat over the past few weeks. There is a devastating fire in Perth at the moment which has been burning for the 6th day today (Saturday).
There is a severe storm front coming through our city today as a result of a cyclone that has past through North off the coast where we live. Crazy isn't it! Thank you for your amazing tutorials, love them. ❤

Hi Tina, nice flip windows! The temp here today was a very hot 78. I made a shopping run and had to blast the a/c in my car! I feel the way you do, so funny because while I’m burning in Florida, my daughter is sending snow pictures sometimes.
It's weird isn't it? I just find it really hard to imagine other weathers going on around the world all at the same time, no idea why that fascinates me so much!!! Haha. Nice to know I'm not the only one though. Enjoy your sunshine and the rest of your weekend x

I love envelopes and spend happy hours tucking them into each other and making little flappy flappy creations with them. I have no idea what I’m going to do with them! I also want to put images in the windows because I can. By the way have you seen Anne Brooke’s 52 weeks of stitched tags? That has a hash tag but if you put her name into CZcams you’ll find her. She’s a textile artist and the work people are doing is beautiful. I’m an intruder from the world of textile arts and cross stitching and I’m going to do this although I’ve not even started. It won’t take long. I thought your phone tinging was mine by the way. 😃

Yes I have seen Anne Brookes 52 weeks of stitched tags, it also looks a great fun challenge, I am not great with stitching, so have shied away so far. I know what you mean about the weather, I think about it, not worldwide but just in the UK even ...fascinates me how it can rain one side of the street and not tother, though hubby just says it has to start and stop somewhere!...Think Rachels pockets were folded up at the back so that her tag is showing through the window when closed and it looks pretty front and back, but as you say it is your own interpretation like the up and over one! ...great video....right I've had my morning fix of tutes from my faves now off to create ...xx

I'm in Southern Indiana. We used to get lots of snow but we really don't have the amounts we used to get when I was little. I can't complain though. Lol

But you have beautiful clean water and you grow oysters to grow huge pearls so that's something to live for

It's just cold and raining and back to being in the 50's + then next week we are SUPPOSED to be in the single digits. Alabama weather. If we get snow it's usually in north Alabama.

The first cut you made you cut off your pocket you leave that whole end of the envelope there and you cut the back side of the envelope off but you leave the front there and you fold it over and that's your pocket and it folds up and it hides
Do you use that art glitter glue when you're glowing stuff together or do you use that new below that everybody's been using
