this is great! thank you so much for putting this together!
Awesome! I hope you join us!
What a great idea!!! I also have a tracker like yours but not in spreadsheet form. It really helps me focus on what I’m scrapbooking. I go to a lot of crops and it does help me with what/what not to carry. I’m looking forward to this challenge as I think it will be fun and there’s always room for growth 😊. TFS
Thank you! Trackers are the best!!
Agreed, there is always room to make things better!
Thanks for the inspiration!
You are so welcome!
I love the time, thought and effort you and Nicole have put into this project!! I’m pretty much a hot mess and need all the help!
Thank you! We are both so excited to see where this challenge takes everyone! We are all hot messes in our own way!
A hole in my process??? It's a whole open pit hahaha - so excited!
🤣 I was trying to be nice!
You got me down in my craft room working before I even finished the video! I was also mid-comment but that disappeared! lol thanks for the inspiration & motivation to get me active in my craft room. One thing I found is that I make my page kits & store them in the page protector, so they are ready to go in the album but they still aren’t finished! I think I want to add dates & more journaling. Whereas before I put ages, not dates. Great idea girls!,
That's so awesome Sidney! It was great chatting with you tonight!
This sounds great! I am excited to hear some new Sorry I am not on facebook but I hope some of the thoughts will appear here from time to time. thanks for sharing this with us.
I do have plans to talk about the challenge during my upcoming process videos so stay tuned!
Great challenge!!
Thanks. I hope you join along with us!
I can't wait to get started - I'm going to start with January of 2024
Yay! Such a great month to start. So many fun things in June!
Should be a fun challenge :)
It has really changed the way I’ve dealt with scrapbooking. I hope you join us.
👍
Do you or Nicole have a video on creating kits? I took a big break from 2014-2020. I’ve purged my older products I knew I no longer wanted, and kept the paper and embellishments I still love. I want to get into using collections and kits but I’m not sure how to put this older stuff together to use it, help! 😅
I suck at matching papers. I mainly only use collections. I would recommend putting this type of question in Nicole’s group. The comment section is better there and we can have several people discuss it.
yes and no... I tend to do page kit prep type stuff when working through a class, sketch bundle or going into a crop. I basically pair sketch with photos and grab product from my stash that I think I want to try and use. I tend to over pull stuff, so when I work on it I have lots of options and enough to tell my brain what I think I want to end up with. I don't really make kits with no photo/story plan and store for future purposes. My brain just doesn't work that way. If you search my channel with the word "prep" there's a bunch. I will link one here that I did making "kits" for a 6x6 class. czcams.com/video/GgOhHMa2RUo/video.htmlsi=SfN96YGBX2qDvtmt
also to add on to what lisa said - there are a bunch of crafters in my group who share different takes on stuff like this. Everything from similar to Lisa with how she uses a spreadsheet and really details her plan starting with photos to working with collections to working with random pieces.
