If u are still around Tarifa, there is another lagoon at high tide in Conil de la frontera. Bigger than the one in Caños and the wind tends to be less gusty..

Great video. Would love to see a front roll transition with a kite loop, just to understand how you developed it into a boogie. I'm afraid of putting a loop into a rotated transition just because of the disorientation.....! Knowing full well you need height to make loops easier. The free style footage was really cool. Nice one.

thank you ! Yes, a video would be great. Stupidly I didn’t filmed the frontroll transition attemps. But I might do a tutorial about this soon.
Until than I can recommend to do as much kiteloops as possible to get s better feeling for the loops… 😊🙌

Hat Spaß gemacht anzuschauen, die Außenaufnahmen sind richtig gut! Mein Problem in den Frontroll Kiteloops ist, dass die Rotation manchmal zu langsam ist, und man dann voll auf dem Hinterkopf einschlägt, haste da Tipps? :-)

The lagoon is only worth it during king tides when it becomes bigger and deeper.

Sehr cool! Finds krass das dus gleich immer in beide Richtungen lernst, find ich nicht einfach, Respekt. Ich kann meine "mega" Loops nur nach links und meine frontroll kiteloop Transitions (eher niedrig) nur nach recht. Hab versucht an meinen Frontrolls nach links zu arbeiten aber bekomm die nicht konstant genug hin um zu loopen. Nach rechts hingegen sind meine normalen Sprünge zu sche*** um Loops ziehen zu können, in die Richtung liegt mir der Frontroll Absprung viel mehr. Wenn ich ne "big Air" Frontroll probier verlenk ich immer den Kite krass nach hinten, egal was ich probier. Jetzt überleg ich stumpf zu sein und einfach den Loop zu ziehen wenn ich schon eh so krass nach hinten lenk^^

ja wenn man den Bewegungsablauf einmal in eine Richtung vertieft hat, dann ist es deutlich schwerer ihn in die andere zu erlernen… Wenn man von vornherrein gleich beide Richtungen angeht, kommt es oft garnicht so weit… 😋

Und ja, das würde ich mal probieren… Solange du ihn durchziehst und nicht abbrichst sollte das nicht allzu schief gehen 😊🙌
I always found boogies loops easier than kiteloops cuz you can't see how high you are and freak out in your head. But then crashes can be much harder. Learning to do emergency extra rotation at the last second helps. Meaning as you come in for a landing and you got too much rotation to land clean or you're about to land backwards so you throw in that last bit of 1/2 rotation to land it... Without sending your kite into another freak out loop.

Hi Ben, kannst du mir sagen, wieviel weniger Wind in Sancti Petri als in Tarifa ist bzw ab sich der weite Weg von Tarifa aus lohnt? Ich in Palmones ist es meiner Erfahrung nach ja schon 15-20 knoten weniger.. geiles video by the way!!

I use standart everywhere and 22m lines. Yes, it loops very quick and safely…
@@BenBeholzVlogs thanks! I thought that you might use the surf setting for a tighter turning radius. I haven't played with the settings in my XR6 yet.
I've heard many times that you couldn't loop anything bigger than the 8. I guess they haven't seen your how to kiteloop safer video then :)

Den genauen moment kann ich schwer sagen. Aber ich habe den kite auch ein paar mal viel zu spät geloopt. Solange ich den Loop durchgezogen habe war auch das kein Problem… hilft dir das ?
Wie schlimm, also böig ist der Wind in Tarifa denn? Von Nord und Ostsee kennt man es ja auch, das wenns richtig stark ballert auch fast immer ziemlich böig ist. So viel schlimmer in Tarifa?
Hm, also es gibt 2 Windrichtungen hier. Levante und Poniente.
Levante ist stark und böig, aber absolut fahrbar.
Poniente ist ein Traum. Konstant und ca 20 kts. Das ist der Wind um neue Sachen zu lernen …
