Thank you! It's amazing what difference it makes to use better quality equipment when it's the right kind for the application. I'm about set for mics at the moment but this week I'm switching to new converters and I've got a new rack with some additional external preamps that I'm itching to put into use. It's about to get better! I've also got a new album coming out in the near future, so keep in touch!

Telefunken on vocals?
Yes sir, Telefunken AR-51. Beautiful mic, very silky and airy but not harsh at all. Love it. Way better than the original version that had a different capsule that wasn't so flattering for the mic, but that was only the first 700 or so of these mics they made. So they're not common, but some folks online have bad opinions of the mic based on a capsule they don't use anymore!
