Literally forgot about this show for the last two decades... was watching the latest episode of Survivor and someone said "golden monkey"... all of a sudden a whole corner of my brain unlocked as memories came flooding back! 😂 I loved this show!!!

Personally I disagree with this as he was trying to keep the spirts up as the kids seemed to lose enthusiasm as the games went on.
Those prizes at the end tho lol. If Jungle Run was still going today there would be nothing inside those statues
later on when that other dude did it they just cut to a display of what they had won, they werent actually IN the statues, so there was a chance for bigger things like mountain bikes and i think one celebrity special won an electric scooter for some kids charity.

I remember one episode, time had run out at the Monkey Trees, meaning Elvis or Sid were to run around to reclaim any unclaimed statues. One kid executed a PERFECT slide tackle, sending the poor monkey FLYING!

I used to watch this as a kid I was always genuinely upset whenever they lost. But this episode is by far the best, with Chris Jarvis from CBeebies and them explorers successfully winning all the monkeys 🐒 🥉🥈🪙
I just remembered this show out of nowhere after not watching it for over 10 years, and now it's 12:40am and I have to rewatch this show because it gives me so much nostalgia :)
Imagine this in 2020 , the prizes would be iPhones , laptops , iPads etc and the kids still wouldn’t be as grateful as they were😂

Finster Tv At the start, you take out a scroll from Tokat’s hand that reveals a laser. With two people wearing goggles, the third team member must guide them around the room. There are boxes with monkey statues in them blocking the way to the hole in the wall, where when you put a statue in it, it reveals a mirror that reflects the laser to the next part. Continue until the laser is pointing at Tokat, then you grab the statue from his hand. Run for your life grabbing the statues from the holes, then get out within 10 seconds as Tokat wakes up and tries to grab you. After 10 seconds, the door closes.

I miss this so much. I remember watching this and being so interested with it. Me and my brother used to watch this everyday while we were eating are dinner. When it was removed we where both quite upset.

I remember watching this show when I was a child and I was always at the edge of my seat when it came to the Temple of the Jungle King it was so fun to watch and now that someone made a playlist of all the episodes I'm going to be in my glories and I'm going to watch all the episodes and I'm going to have so much fun

Just watching tomb raider and had major flashbacks when she found the red gem. I asked my mum and we spent about 5 minutes trying to remember the name of this show 😂.
