I think the conservatives should be punished for NEVER addressing the problem of immigration - legal and illegal. It was the whole point of Brexit - yet nothing was done. I do not support joining cons with reform. Reform all the way - unfortunately I wonder if there will be a UK left by the next election - Labour seem set on destroying our country and culture and is no longer a safe haven for genuine asylum seekers as we are being overrun by the very regimes they fled from. 😢

This is my worry. I think there needs to be political reform for the public to have a vote of no confidence. We need proportional representation and reform that prevents this situation of gross misrepresentation from a party that only gained 20% of the electorate's votes.

Well, I wouldn't be surprised if one day some sort of deal was made to get the numbers up for a majority. It'd be a LOT better if some Tories joined Reform - but Reform would have to vet them VERY carefully.
I don't really think that will happen. Nigel is a very Experienced Politician, & I'm sure he is aware of the consequences if he takes on too many Tory M.P's !!!!!.

As a former tory member and a conservative through and through this is precisely why the conservative party must be completely crushed and rebuilt without any former tory cabinet members in any form of power or influence. For Robert Jenrick to completely dismiss and disregard any form of cooperation or even talks with Reform then that says to me they are as far from the right of politics as labour are,they have learnt nothing from that election result thus proving they should be nowhere near power until such time as they are reconstructed by those who are not current.
