A full replacement of Louis Vuitton Bucket bag PM size vachetta leather such as handles, trims, and binders, using genuine vachetta leather (vegetable tanned leather). As requested by the owner of the bag to keep the straps as is, we did not include it in our louis vuitton repair services.

Thank you for sharing. I have been binge watching your videos. Just my 2 cents, I believe it's best for you to wear gloves and wear mask when handling metal polisher, these chemicals can be harmful some are even carcinogenic. It's for your protection dear. Just a bit concern if you don't mind :-)

Yes, the owner opted to keep the old straps… Anyhow, the new vachetta will also darken eventually, as dark as the straps.
How much would this repair cost?
One of my straps cracked and just held together by the stitching. Also, the lining is tearing away and peeling.
Yeah, that’s a very common problem for vintage bucket bags. 😞
