Those were original Military Jeff's memories of the wedding. When she took off her wedding ring because she was having feelings for the clone, he made her a new ring. The "Ghost" is Farm Jeff's memories of the wedding and such cause they weren't his memories.

The storyline goes like this: There is a "Jeff scientist" and the "Jeff farmer" who is an experiment, a human clone. The scientist Jeff left and go out to the space leaving his wife with the clone of him (one of many inside his laboratory) but when he returns the wife figure it out that she falls in love with the clone, but this love it's impossible so she free him (the clone, she's letting him go) and stays with his original husband.
In any case, you need to watch the 2nd part of the story in the yellow leaf mv
