    hi there, thanks for the vid! hard to find content on this part, on this car.. correcting a p0443 on an 02’ Lancer, and jumped the gun and got a new canister but didn’t realize the location was under the manifold!

    When would this part need to be replaced and cleaning it won't help?

    You know I have a 2016 Accord 2.4L and a 2016 Accord 2.0L. Both started to have obsurd behaviors since I used fuel additives: 1. throttle lags(press down pedal, but the speed raises half a second later only)/ 2. slow accedelation(especially accedelate from low speed)/ 3. ocasionally car wont speed up at all no matter how I push the pedal(although the rpm does raise)/ 4. every time I push and release pedal when the car's idling the rpm hangs first at 1400 then slowly drops down to 800.

      I have changed the fuel filter inside the tank, swapped in new CVT filter right beneath the battery tray, cleaned the throttle plate and changed spark plugs, swapped in new mass air flow and new manifold air absolute pressure and cleaned the back of the air intake valve with CRC Intake Valve Cleaner, ALL BY MYSELF, a newbie. And I also disconnected the battery and resetted the ECM I dont even know how many times, but just could not seem to fix these problems.

    What kind of cleaner did you use?

      Any carb cleaner would do. Better if you use contact cleaner

      electrical cleaner spray works.

      Can we use Mass Air flow sensor cleaner

    • @tjroane
      @tjroane Před 2 měsíci

      @@FarhanKhan-cs9cr That is the most recommended cleaner. Carb or brake cleaners can have a harsh effect on plastic housings.

    I've heard that you can soak it in gas

    • @SCCPK
      @SCCPK  Před rokem +4

      A big no because gas contains harmful components for plastic rubber and elctrical circuits
