Amazing version. RIP Allan and Bernard. This is like a dream team. I had the opportunity to be part of Stanley’s band years ago, and he is a true leader who encourages all members to give their best and feel great on stage.
Scott Henderson injected some much-needed soul into this band. When he was fired and they got Gambale, and later Eric Marienthal, it just became this icy chops-fest. Which is too bad. Saw this band live twice and they were two of the best gigs I ever saw...
Couldn´t agree more! Wish there were more footage, but I guess we have to be grateful for the two whole shows that exist considering the short time Henderson was in the band.

One was that Chick, as a good Scientologist, asked all the band members to fill out forms after every gig, evaluating their own performance and saying what they could improve, and Scott didn't want to do it. The other was that he was getting high and Chick fired him. I don't know if either is true, but both sound plausible.
