the function key %1 can be setup for a negative or positive %. please see mode > PGM > SETTING > FUNCTIONS > %1 - then adjust the settings to whats required, ie 10% and to be positive

most likely is that you are either using non thermal paper or perhaps if you are using thermal you have the roll the wrong way around

this is because you arent signed on. press escape then press your clerk number followed by the clerk button (clk)

if you unplug from the mains AND remove the batteries then yes the machine will factory reset
