I'll never forget the time I brought my N64 to school before the Thanksgiving holiday and was playing it with some friends and I had Stone Cold and one of them had HBK, and that match was back and forth for the longest and he tried his sweet chin music and I blocked by grabbing his leg and doing the Stunner for the win. All of us was going nuts.
Best times
Memories!!
@@KennyMcCormick99 can you please tell me how to do special attack
@@bharathpoongavanam207 use the stick, bruh. Lol

So much memories
Lol the noises the game makes during a submission brought me back. Same with the goofy ref that pops up.
Kids today will never know just how amazing these games were.
It’s a damn shame wrestling games today are so disappointing.
Triple H gear at 2:30 was always my fav from these old games.
That TKO into a stunner looked sick.
Nice touch that almost everyone is performing their finisher on their Attitude Era rival.
4:52 BURNING HAMMER!
Now banned
Even these finishers here look more enjoyable than today’s High definition 2K trash 🗑
I agree.
Even though compared to other games WM2000 was limited in some areas it was so much fun to play. Maybe it's a combination of great controls, nostalgia, and my absolute obsession with wrestling at the time but in my opinion this is the greatest wrestling game ever and probably the most enjoyable gaming experience of my life.
I would put it above No Mercy even though again it is a more basic game between the two. There was just something about it that makes it better.
Those AKI games were absolutely brilliant and have never been matched or bettered since. Great graphics are pointless when the game is not fun to play and that's been part of the problem with recent wrestling games.
@@poppycock31185 you are so right. This was the Halo 3 of Wrestling games.
Lmao shut up lil bro, this game was good but don't dick ride it, 2k stay winning lil bro 😎
The blue meanie dlo brown viscera gangrel edge Christian cactus jack mankind dude love.. I remember getting this on Christmas and playing all night
This game was ahead of it's time. Like 007 Golden eye
1:01 Chokeslam!
Rest In Peace Pat Patterson 6:12
Also Chyna, Bossman, Viscera, Brian Christopher, Test and Paul Bearer.
The hardy boyz was legend i swear
Best bossman slam in videogames
You forgot my favorite!!
The Ankle Lock!!
I forgot how dope the music was with this game
#FACTS
Too many Pulling Piledrivers....
Funny thing - at the end, it could be a pulling piledriver with Cactus Jack and Dude Love - they (he?) both used this finisher :D
_Baranov_925_ Indeed, and Michael Hayes should be using a DDT, and Pat Patterson should be using an Atomic Drop as their respective finishers.
I’ve been looking for the screw driver but it’s a created move
@started from the bottom, that was Scott Steiner's finisher from WCW Revenge. It was brought over to WrestleMania 2000 since the games uses the same engine.
scitizenkane1 I’ve never liked wcw so thanks for that info .... I was lost as hell like who does this lmao ..... but once I used it or found it all my friends wanted the move but we had that rule where you everyone’s has to be different
Very solid game. Animations and physics are really good and aged well in my opinion. I also like the fact that there is no glitching.
Unlike ps2 chokeslam hand is like inside their neck and head lol
This my favorite game 🎯🎯
It looked so real to me back then 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Real O.G's tried to get 2-3 finishers in, back to back for maximum damage.
I think with the "Downward Spiral" (Edge's special) you could get 4 in. And its the strongest power grade, S.
Gave Vince a unique stunner. 😁
They removed some moves from this game that were in Revenge, which is a little disappointing.
Framrate for this game is better than No Mercy, especially in 3+player matches.
Will you do No Mercy and WCW NWO finishers?
*WCW NWO Revenge
And maybe finishers from WCW Nitro, WCW/nWo Thunder, WCW SuperBrawl 🤼♂️, WCW Mayhem, WCW Backstage Assault, WCW vs. The 🌎 and WCW vs. nWo 🌎 Tour!
My 3rd favorite wrestling game
My favorite WWE game 😍 idk how people pick No Mercy over this. Basically the same thing. Same with HCTP over SYM
HCTP was definitely different compared to SYM. No Mercy on the other hand isn't much different from 2000 other than having running grapples, a few new match types, and backstage fighting.
Because you could go backstage thats why
No Mercy had better season mode and announcer's tables. Saying this is better than No Mercy is like saying SmackDown 1 is better than SmackDown 2 .....
@@sophieschollsreinkarnation5078 In the Beta Version of WWF No Mercy their was gonna be Two announcement Tables in the Game, But Got Scrapped from the Game
Improved customization, more unlockable materials, more advanced story mode, more match types, weapons that stay after being dropped. I love WM 2000 though.
A big problem with No Mercy is laggy gameplay in multi-man matches
The roster was stacked
I like it, it was good wrestling game
Best game ever
:D AWESOME
Just turned my Nintendo 64 back on. What buttons to press to do the finishers
them graphics tho
Chante gamez Lol the game was made in 1999, good graphics for its time
Better than 2k20
@@demetriousstephens1998 facts
Tho? Though what?
@@demetriousstephens1998 the graphics weren't even great for its time actually. But this game and No Mercy and WcW/Nwo revenge are examples of games where graphics aren't everything .
You forgot the blue meanie moonsault
Just found a N64 in the thrift finally for $25 this game is the only game I want I can play this all day
Why they give so many people spike pile drivers 😂!! Top game at the time tho ... Good video bro 👏🏻👏🏻
A bunch of characters were clones of one another..specifically patterson/briscoe and lawler/jr.
Beyond that they just needed finishers for their generic movesets
Because they weren't actual wrestlers or didn't have a finisher at all. The best Terri could actually do in the ring was a Body Slam (and only on The Kat) so they had give them something.
@@kinglistosas5010 Terri did it in Wrestlemania 2000 so.... 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
Shit Road Dogg's Pump Handle Slam And Shake Rattle And Roll Have All The Juice
How do you do it on N64, I never could do it
Where is the frikin' elevator drop?
Shake rattle and roll and fame asser had the best animations in this game
What in the WORLD did you do to Shawn Michaels?
How To Do Finishers On N64 on that game?
They look better with the replay on
Everyone looks the same height
They're not. The variance might not be much between wrestles who are only a couple inches taller or shorter than the other, but Big Show, Kane, and the Undertaker are clearly taller than everyone else.
arguably better than No Mercy due to being able to have 4 people on screen without the action lagging.
No Mercy didn't lagg with 4 people on screen on N64.
@@sophieschollsreinkarnation5078 gameplay was slow on No mercy tag team matches
I disliked that about No Mercy. That, the cut off entrances and the fact that some cartridges erased data
was this on n64?
00:21 Choker hold
00:33 Tombstone
00:02 Stone Cold Stunner
00:07 Chokeslam
Sweet chin music 6:30
00:01 Stunner
Are the controls same as wcw/nwo revenge?
Yes
WrestleMania 2000 and No Mercy both have the same controls as WCW/nWo Revenge, but advanced.
Anydobdy please tell me how to do special move on NWO Revenge?
@@avishekdas9212 if it is the same as here it should be strong grapple (hold down A) when you have a special, and then move the analog. And during a strong grapple press A + B to do the opponent's finisher
@@dhlhthriwdhskissos9606 yes now i can do this😊, Thank you
Takers is a tombstone😂
looks like nomercy
how do u do finshers
Some required you to put your opponent in a grapple and move the joy stick to perform your finisher
When your meter shows SPECIAL, hold the A button to do a strong grapple and press the control stick. It varies on which wrestler you use.
If you strong grapple and push A+B together you will copy your opponents special move.
better than 2k series game
Did anybody else edit Undertaker to make him not so fat?
Sorry but I have to do this,First

HOW DARE YOU leave out Kurt Angle's Ankle Lock, PLUS Rhyno's Spear!!! Blasphemy!!!
pretty bad as far as finishers go when you compare it to revenge and no mercy
you missed so many finishers it's rediculous...... and none of those top rope moves were finishers in the games definition of the word...... also am i the only one who finds it odd that shake rattle and roll something that was realisticly a signature is one of hte best finishers in the game......
Nah
You have a finisher from each position. You have to go to the CAW mode to check which one of them is the most powerful one for each wrestler. As a kid I wrote down a list with all wrestlers so that I don't have to search through that mode everytime to find out.
Ugh! So unsatisfying, No Mercy was great for it's time, but literally every one of those animations are better now in WWE 2K... But it's good for nostalgia, to see how far the games have come... People complain so much, but the games are beautiful now, even if they are buggy and glitchy.😅
Most of them look exactly the way they're supposed to, animation-wise. The only thing that's really outdated is the character models and textures.
They just do every move they have in the game front back and turnbuckle
Eeeh this game has HUNDREDS of moves, wtf are you talking about.
I barely recognize any of these polygons.
Sky High is the most underated finisher ever
