I'm pretty sure! It's quite a big production they have so they would get extra's so it looked more real. It might be a real plane parked by a gate in an airport but I don't think it was on their actual trip over here. In terms of planning that production wise it's too big of a hassle.
Just the amount of people they are with is not enough. I think it's a much bigger production team going to London and also just when they are checking in and boarding the plane, they don't have enough luggage with them. As a film student, I know how much equipment they need to film something like this and for their shows in London and they aren't bringing anything with them. It's just not very realistic to me.

To be fair I'd be surprised if they brought all their stuff as most of the time when shows tour they bring the bare minimum and either send things and people over a head of time or alternatively use whats already in London. Wherever they are filming in London probably has all of the props/set etc they need already. I wouldn't be surprised if they've been prepping this in London for months. Re-cameras/mics and stuff they have all that stuff in the UK, they don't need to bring their own. But I still have a hard time believing that its real as even getting all the equipment on the plane to film/getting through security in the US would be a pain.
All window shades down is the dead giveaway. Also, common sense, but hey, take your pick, the sketch was relatively funny though.
