In This One, the first of the new wave of LEGO Speed Champions! a batch including the Audi S1 E-Tron Hoonigan, McLaren Formula 1, Ford Mustang Darkhorse, BMW M4 GT3 & BMW M Hybrid V8 and it's time I head in and review each one, build and see what they're like!!

I liked the E-tron it was one of the ones i reality wanted. I just thought the minifig should have had a red helmet face shield, so i bought 1. That's just me, tho.

How custom you are to (WRC) Rallying?
I think you’re right on the build it was very basic build technique, stickers don’t bother me as it’s usually for smaller details that bricks couldn’t capture. I feel like the e-tron build overall captures the look of the real vehicle in Lego scale. Yes certain aspects could be better and that is the great thing about Lego is you can modify it to be what you want. Lastly I really enjoy the waffle outtro.
I believe the car is great, but the basic building technique is probably what bothers him

People really have different opinions. For me THIS is the best ever Lego SC set, so go figure. Also, why so many like the Mustang? i think its ugly, it has a very box like shape (like 90% of them all) and it had strange color pieces coming inside, i prefer 3 different color pieces, 4 tops.
Its the only non F1 SC set that does not look like a box. Its the heavies too, that back wing is a thing of beauty, it doesn't have a single ugly side.

@@teamcaveman nope, i don't like those, nor do i like bright color pieces either, i prefer "boring", though i don't call it boring. The set for me needs to ne artistic, the old way, the colors need to be right, easy for the eye, also the color combinations, small details that i think looks good, need to be correct, i don't care about building techniques or such. I'm more of a lego technic 18+ set builder anyways, who likes to change the models for my liking.

it depends which region you live in, all my 2024 sets that i have bought have had paper bags, and i live in Europe. i heard that they havent really been delivered to US yet, and the rest of the world i have no idea of

I would say the BMW M4 GT3 build is the worst of the bunch, followed by the Mclaren F1 which while it has 5 less stickers than the E-Tron, it has more annoying stickers in general.

1: This is not the one that Ken Block drove, infact… in this video I wish it was the other livery actually labeled “Hoonigan” with Monstor logos, the one that Ken Block actually drove, which you would think you knew

@@BrickWaj Lego doesn't want energy drinks brands because energy drinks are not good for little kids that's why Lego are never going to make a Red Bull f1 team Speed champions set because Red Bull is a energy drink and Speed champions are infact for kids not for adults on the box it says 9+ not 18+ if it was 18+ maybe the monster energy should have been on the set but it's 9+ ps do you know that the Speed Champions sets are targeted to little kids and not adults only the icon line is for adults ps do you know that Lego is from Europe and in Europe is actually forbidden to put unhealthy stuff like energy drinks on toy cars but there are toy cars with energy drink logos but those toy cars are for adult collectors and not for kids, here Europe we doesn't want that little kids drink energy drink if you want Ken Block's version buy a scale model of it. 🤨 ps adult Lego fans are starting to act like toxic Star wars fans that complain about everything, it's just a set for 9yo kids. Nuh uh paper is worse for the environment because they are made using TREES
the difference being that Trees grow back, plastic is not only limited, but also doesn’t become one with the ground after time like paper does
@@BrickWaj plastic does as it's made of silicone, silicone is made by insects and rock, fun fact it takes 50 to 200years for a tree to mature, it only takes a couple weeks for silicone to become a bottle or bag
Honestly the bmw set is the worst. Another generic Prototyoe and Racecar that we’ve seen time and time again and the sheer amount of stickers is ridiculous.
