Katie is really good at track for a beginner. I’m a track coach that specializes in long jump, triple jump, and hurdles and I would just tell her to get a little more power out of her last 3 steps in her approach to the boards and really driving her knee up. She can have such a bright future in track if she sticks with it and continues to fine tune her craft

because you’re looking at how far into the sand she has jumped but her last step was actually taken on the runway on or before the white line and that’s where they start the measurement
She’s jumping from further back on the runway, so she is not going as far into the sand pit

Its so crazy that Katie's is fantastic at track , i really like how she came out of her comfort zone and tried at new sport. It great that shes new and already made a record. Also glad that Brennan is back at water polo after his injury. Love you guys from Australia ❤️⚡️

Congratulations, Katie excellent job. Your work ethic is very inspiring you're a very hard worker and always try your best.. You're an incredible athlete very impressive to be doing what you're doing the 1st year even trying the sport. .
For the 100 meter dash, here's a tip that my coach taught me that brought my times down by half a second. When you hit your top speed push your hips forwards to help with standing tall and getting the full stride and power. Katie looks like she has a little bit of a lean when she's sprinting and it will be affecting her performance. Good job on the record too!
Also trying to keep completely relaxed can greatly improve performance in any event
Katie has always worked hard at every sport she tries. I ran across a video where they were showcasing gymnasts who could reach the Olympics. That video had Katie as the number 3 prospect for the 2024 games. It us a shame she was injured as she was also picked to possibly compete in 2020 before her injuries. She will be good at any spoet she tries as she works incredibly hard to be the best she can be.

Massive improvement on the relay Katie, the baton exchange was great, now as a team just keep training together as much as you can get those exchanges quicker and spot on and you'll see how much smoother the race gets for your team. Great effort though :) keep at it! Enjoy your Easter break in London, if I bump into you I'll be sure to say hi, we can have a little relay chat I'll give you some tips and show you some techniques my team and I use :)

Katie is doing too much thing on the track ! Wow ! I'm in my high school track too in Quebec but I just concentrate my work on relay race or other race like 100m and more ! I'm just good at racing (I'm the fastest of my team) but this summer I'm gonna have to stop because I play Baseball and it's my last years in high school after i'm going to cegep (don't know how it's work in USA) Love to see that Katie love this ! Continue like that and she will be a legend later ! Love you !
