    Richard Fairbrass allowed people to make their points each and every time someone stood up, requesting a moment to speak. In contrast, Peter Williams allowed not a single person the time to do so. I believe this inadvertently exemplifies the open-mindedness on the part of gay people which Richard mentions, vs. the desire to impose their views and suppress expression, as evidenced by Peter.

    I grew up in a man-woman parental household and they were always screaming at each other. I think that sort of environment is damaging. But I also recognise most man-woman parents are good parents. But my point is that straight parents and indeed gay parents are not always good parents. Ask Fred and Rose West's children.

    This was by far the most reasonable argumentation from the gay side. It's about making sure the child would be happy having same sex parents, it's not about making the selfish, angry homosexuals happy. Potentially this could lead to the gay people satisfying their selfish wants, whilst denying the children normality.

    • @isla25
      @isla25 Před 3 lety +3

      What on earth are you talking about? There has been mountains of research into homosexual parents and if you bothered to look it up would see the outcomes for their children are very good and even better when compared to heterosexual parents half of whom did not plan their kids like we do, and they resent them to some degree. The instances of abuse are far higher with heterosexual parents. Do some research before spewing this nonsensical hatred. Raising children is selfish when Gay people do it, said like a true heterosexual bigot.

    Crack a biology book open and you'll discover that our bodies weren't "made" at all ^^.
    You're superimposing purpose/meaning (which is a subjective human construct) on to reality. It is a property of your perceptions of reality, not of reality itself, in the same way that the awe some people feel when looking at mountains is clearly a property of their minds, not of the mountains.
    Our bodies can be used for an enormous range of activities and it is the "owner" of the body that gets to decide.

      1GoldRunner well our experiences in life makes us who we are , and who we are can be influenced by us and by people around us and by mass media , if you tell me that somebody is born some way and lived for what 20 or 30 years with that way he she is born still intact i am going to have to call you an idiot , no offense xD , like it or not we all have our flaws , nobody is perfect , but some people are trying to spread those flaws into other people and that is what bothers me the most , when a personal choice is turned into a trend , and every mother wishes her child is gay , and movie stars get excited when they get a gay couple for neighbors , they marketing this idea to everyone , those kind of things are highly influential to the public , so if you are gay good for you it does not concern me unless agendas are made to influence the society i want my children to grow up in .

      1GoldRunner you really think that homosexuality can save earth from over population LOL that is actually funny because according to experts we are producing enough to feed 21 billion people , the problem is not the lack of resources but it is that people in the US are just too fat , while people are starving to death others spends millions of dollars on perfume and beauty products and luxury cars , our planet can easily feed us all , while we already have birth control , homosexuality adds nothing at all , just like a man masturbating in public and saying it is for the greater good , homosexuality should not be a public matter like it is now , it is a personal choice that society has no business interfering in nor knowing about .

    • @gordonmorgan6298

      +1GoldRunner yeah Russian scientists said in the 70's that the earth could easily support 20 billion people if managed properly. We grow enough food annually to feed 12 billion people, just most of it ends up in the bin. You might actually want to wonder why they lie to you about overpopulation and and promote the things they do. Yes oligarchs have your best interests at heart lol. Are you aware that 6 corporations control 95% of the information you read or hear. The mainstream media is there to tell you what to think, who to love and hate and what causes are important for humanity, except it's all for the benefit of the international cabal of oligarchs who want to mould humanity as they see fit. You really think they need 7 billion slaves when most of the manual labour can be done with machines, computers and robots? This is about control of the masses by the few and they look upon us as cattle.

    I couldn't care less what people do with their time, but raising kids is so dicey and is supposed to be even. Man and Woman. Not a man who thinks he is one, or a woman trapped in a mans body. How can anyone say it won't make the slightest difference? Growing up in a Gay environment will lean that kid towards it, you must have equilibrium... It does influence no matter what anyone says... I don't feel its right. But who am I to judge?
    I am Atheist, I Abhor religious indoctrination, but I strongly feel a kid needs male and female for a realistic approach

    • @cre8ivartist

      You didn't really make any argument here. Why are the gender of the parents important? And if they are, are gay people not able to show characteristics of both males and females? It indeed CAN be 'even' in that way, as you described it. But going back, why is this 'equilibrium' important? Growing up in a 'gay environment' will lean kids toward it? Are you serious??? Most if not all gay people are born to heterosexual couples - nothing leaned them towards it other than the fact that they were born that way. Your ignorance is astonishing.

    • @cre8ivartist
      @cre8ivartist Před 10 lety +8

      gouazar tarik Firstly you assume science knows everything when of course there is much that science does not know yet. You cannot come to a conclusion without evidence. I have no evidence and neither do you. But that doesn't make *you* correct by default. But let's put evidence aside for a moment, since we have none to prove either arguments, and let's think logically. If being gay was a choice, that means all of us have the choice to be gay including yourself. Are you telling me right now that you can easily be attracted to a man if you wanted to? Of course that's impossible. You can't look at someone and "decide" to be attracted to them. You are either attracted or you aren't, and these attractions cannot be switched on or off. If this simple principle is something you cannot understand, you are either unintelligent or bigoted.
      Finally how can you claim to know how someone else feels? You couldn't possibly know what it is like to be gay if you've never been in that persons' shoes therefore you have no right to judge them.
