I always thought the 250 between Brixton and Streatham was pointless because of 109,159, 118...loads of buses. Maybe divert it after Streatham to Wandsworth via Tooting Bec and Trinity Road.
250 and 109 are nearly the same, just 250 ends at west croydon and 109 continues to town centre, and 109 uses london load while 250 goes via thorthon heath

why does the N250 even exist? why not just make the 250 a 24-hour route?
Because of the amount of bus around Croydon to east Croydon and other parts to Croydon like Purley. So 250 and 264 were withdrawn there.
