    Motorcycling in pitch darkness through narrow roads, some located in forest areas, and not in the best condition in many stretches, with the blinding glare of the headlamps of oncoming heavy traffic for company, I was quite literally hanging on to the edge of my seat on this ride! And supremely thankful for the break of dawn! :-) If you enjoy some thrills, this one’s for you.

    Some of these roads which you have covered, by bike, from my experience, having, driven on Bajaj boxer AT and on a Suzuki sling shot, your ride is like being on a KSRTC Rajahamsa bus

    The darkness makes the motorcycle rider much less visible. Physical fatigue is a big enemy of riding. Keeping the body agreed for the ongoing and for the next piece of riding time is not an easy thing. Riding with buddies means always having each other’s backs. Good, you gave them an earful. 😁
    You're doing a great job so far.😊
    Keep 'em coming! 🙃
    Take care, stay safe & happy safe riding, Amigo! 😉

    Hi Kripal, big fan. Just a couple of suggestions on riding.
    1. Always make sure not to start from 4 AM to 6 AM if the road is undivided 2 Lane road. Because the long-distance buses usually reach the destination around 5 AM to 7 AM. Long distance bus drivers do not care of bikers and mostly they will be tired of driving all night.
    2. Keep the clear vision(transparent) visor without any scratches. Also cleansing it once after 30 mins to 40 mins with wet tissue will be of great help to clear out the debris of insects.

      @KripalAmannaVlogs  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Manju, agree with you on both points. And I always have a windshield cleaner handy, however over a period of time, you tend the windshield tends to have minor scratches that you can do nothing about and it is that which causes an issue when a vehicle on the opposite side comes at you with their high beam on.

    • @Rx_101
      @Rx_101 Před 2 lety

      @@KripalAmannaVlogs Wow!! Thanks for the reply. Yes, it's hard to keep the visor scratchless. Minor scratches are the worst for high beams.

  • @rohansivon
    @rohansivon Před 2 lety +1

    When I look at riders, I thought only I have issues with night time rides, especially when heavy truckers use high beam for no reasons, as if they have no idea on when and where to actually use the beams. And it gets really frustrating when they don't respond to pass. Well, different country have different drivers as per my experience in regards to high beam. Anyhow, looking forward to your next video in this series. Cheers!

    When your comment started "The one unnerving thing" - The first thing that came to my mind was my Goa ride on my motorcycle. That day I encountered a jackal/fox. On a highway, it can easily be a stray dog that runs in a way and can be very dangerous for two-wheelers. Enjoy riding Kripal ji.

    Good morning dear Kripal- Wow back to Motovlog series with your buddies 👍 I am sure you folks had a wonderful time cherishing some good memories and eating some good food en route 👍 Thanks to Red Earth Resort we could manage to get one more bonus Vlog 😀 True that Riding in the dark is certainly not an easy ask . Wow you are gonna ride 500 Kms to get back to Bengaluru 👍👍 Fabulous grit , determination and passion exhibited by you and your fellow biker buddies 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Ok the fat boy fuel average is 19 KMPL . In fact as per my corporate policy and also personal policy at home . No riding for long distances post 6 pm . Safety is paramount and like you mentioned the unnerving part could be the blind spots which could be dangerous . Why don’t you ride in the centre of the group so that you don’t feel left behind and be a tad disadvantaged. Finally the Sun trying to sneak out ☀️ Good advice by Kripal to your buddies 👍 Now it’s a good sight to watch you as a group and now with the daylight breaking out making it easier and happy for you 👍👍 Yes the night driving was tough 😰 Oh you encountered a Kachcha road . Who that was an abrupt end to the Vlog 🤔🤔 Anyways glad that you and your biker friends rode back safely . Will we have one more Vlog on this series - your entry into Bengaluru? Anyways as usual love your moto vlogs and they super cool and fun to watch . Take care , Stay Safe , Happy Riding and God bless 👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

      Hi Rajesh, yes, the ride through the dark was certainly unnerving to say the least. That's a good policy to have, no long rides after 6pm. We should have a couple more covering this ride back. Have a great weekend.

    To be honest, just watching you ride with forest and darkness everywhere was giving me chills. Was wondering whether these forests could have miscreant groups waiting to rob people on the way. I think this sort of situations must be avoided in the future for the sake of safety.

      Yes, Indrajit, I got chills twice, whilst on the ride, and watching the footage again on the edit board. Riding in the dark is not something that I intend to do on a regular basis if given a choice.
