For the perfect meatballs- grape jelly and bbq sauce in the crockpot. Comes out sticky and and yummy every time. In your case, you were supposed to make a “slurry” with the corn starch (cold water and cornstarch mixed together) THEN pour into the gravy that you need to thicken. Cornstarch directly into the sauce almost always leaves those tiny white balls in your mix.
Yasss this is how my family makes meatballs my fav!

Try using raspberry jam. Really good too.

I mix my corn starch in a jar or cold water mix it really good then pour n stir it in more evenly distributed n all dissolved. but whatever get it done
I always love Harlee content! She is so joyful! I have to say I love your videos, one you made recently really made me rethink. When you talked about saying “no” to your kids, when there wasn’t an actual reason. It’s a hard cycle to stop, but I am trying. I find myself thinking why I’m saying “no” before I say it. If it’s because I don’t want to deal with a mess after or she will need a bath then I have started saying YES! Why shouldn’t she have fun even if I’m left with a mess. Love your whole family!

Was Bodi ever non-verbal? I have a 4 year old grandson that is autistic. He further has Cerable Palsey, he's tongue tied, has a life long injury to his heart, he has a lot of trouble relating to people. He is very loving and extremely intelligent (no MR). He has taught himself to count to over 100 in at least 2 languages he further recites the alphabet in English, German, Russian and some Japanese. He can look at a world map and point to pretty much every country. However when I tell you he's non- verbal it is extremely hard to understand what he is saying.
He called me one day about 4 months ago and said "good morning I love you grandma." His annunciation was perfect. I cried as we were told he would never be more than a vegetable. He walks, runs, climbs, jumps dresses himself goes potty by himself he did everything they said he couldn't. God bless my beautiful Xavier.

For my Buffalo chicken dip I use the Buffalo franks red hot it’s so good 😊 I have never used the regular franks red hot I wonder which is hotter?

My grandson is four he'll be starting Pre-K for the first time tomorrow. I really enjoyed the video and I hope you have a wonderful day watching the game and spending time with family. We're from Pittsburgh PA so my son and grandsons are watching the Steelers game now and we ordered pizza and Hoagies and snacks of course. When you make the meatballs, you should mix the cornstarch and water separately so the cornstarch dissolves better. THAN pour that cornstarch-water mixture in with the meatballs. It will make sure you don't get those clumpy cornstarch bits. 😊

Yeah, she realized and said that after she added the water and stirred it up a bit. She makes so many meals where she just dumps the ingredients in her slow cooker without any thought, that she did the same thing this time. She’s too distracted.

I was watching when you were adding stuff to the meatballs and you were supposed to make a cornstarch slurry with the cornstarch and water. It's equal parts water and cornstarch and it will thicken any sauce but adding it the way you did will cause you to have lumps of cornstarch in your sauce especially if the sauce is hot already. Try this method for perfectly smooth thick sauces. Take care

What a fun outting just you and Harlee 🤗. She is too cute, and I remember being that age and pointing at stuff I didn't need wanting my mom to get it 😂🤣😅. I hate this being an adult thing it's overrated. I love how everyone wants to help out getting all the yummy food fixed. I admire how close everyone is with each other. My siblings and I aren't close at all.

I’m in the same situation. I’m the oldest of 8 children. It seems like we were all only children. I had one close sibling. She was 7 years younger than me. I loved her so much. I called her my hero. She died last year from complications with diabetes. But she had her happy ending. She was on her third marriage. And they loved each other deeply. The last time she visited she was getting a special gift for her husband of 20 years. I still cry about losing her.
I used to be close with my brother, but as we've gotten older we've drifted apart plus some other family issues. I've got step siblings who I consider my brothers and sisters, but they all think life's a competition to see who can outdo who, and that's me. I've reached out to everyone without any success.

You're supposed to mix the corn starch into the water so you don't end up with clumps. Lol
Next time dissolve the cornstarch in the water. It's called a slurry and will thicken up without cornstarch clumps.

I always feel so sorry for the lobsters :( They don't get fed and sit starving in a tank until they are plucked out and boiled alive. There is a CZcams channel where a guy takes one home, keeps it as a pet in a huge tank, it turns out to be really intelligent and interesting to watch.

Another delicious meatball combo in the crockpot is grapejelly and heinz chili sauce (in the bottle). That's a favorite of our family. It has a little more flavor and not quite as sweet.
I just said this in another comment. But I use canned cranberry sauce and the Heinz chili sauce. I’ve had them both ways and almost can’t tell a difference.

Shredded Chicken Hack ::: After you have them fully cooked drop them in your kitchen aid mixer and in 2 minutes it will be fully shredded using your paddle attachment! (now that I think of it, do you have a Kitchen Aide Stand up mixer?)
