Weyes Blood Perform “Do You Need My Love” Live | Pitchfork - Hudba
current weyes blood obsession song
Mozart been real quiet since this came out
Its been 231 years since he went quiet so...
@@sdjjj8243 its funny bc this song was actually released 231 years ago
@@everboa kequing pfp💖
He is in there. He is in the music.
Lmao 🤣
the way she sings, she makes it look so easy and effortless.
late 60's occult bands + Carpenters + Joni Mitchell + Progressive rock = Weyes Blood!!
You forgot Siouxsie Sioux
Exactly. Nailed it.
You forgot Vashti Bunyan
@@isaacproa3049 In my opinion, their music is nothing alike. At all.
its so much more... its really amazing
Weyes Blood changed my life.
This performance is so sublime I'm actually getting teary eyed.
exquisite. that subtle electronic sequence in the background that morphs into the song in the later stages. You see how Mering ends the song - keyboard suddenly stops - one hand still on the keys, the other raises and freezes - the electronic sequence is the only thing left - it decays - everlasting. The art is back in music. Go babee!
She's way more expressive and likeable than I imagined based on the music alone.
i swear this woman's an angel
That's what I think every time I hear her stunning voice.
3:39 INSANE... the way she purposely plays with atonality and dissonance, only to weave it back into the rest of the song.
absolutly , very very difficult to sing this section of one minute ....probably very few covers
Shes probably the best artist ive found this year. And i am constantly looking for new music but weyes blood is something else.
I love that about her music! How she uses it💜
it's reminiscent of how to disappear completely, another masterpiece
woahhhh thank u for pointing this out
Wicked version. Drum fills are epic. Natalie’s voice is mind blowingly good. Everyone is really rocking and a rolling on this one . ❤️⚡️❤️⚡️
'Front Row Seat to Earth' is definitely one of my favorite albums of 2016.
1. Front Row Seat To Earth
2. My Woman
3. Freetown Sound.
Paul Keefer
Totally agree. 'My Woman' by Angel Olsen is my #1!
1. Weyes Blood - Front Row Seat To Earth
2. Angel Olsen - My Woman
3. Andy Shauf - The Party
Still not sure about the order but I love the three of them to death
babaupede - I came back to this video to let you know that your 3 artist Best Of list inspired me to check out Andy Shauf, because I love the other two artists / albums, too...
Well, I bought his album within two days of watching this video and reading your comment - I love it, too!
Thank you!
❤️ Natalie' s voice
She has this retro vibe I love.
Her voice and music is so soothing to me. I feel calmed.
Wow!!! That was utterly stunning!!! Only came across this band/lady at the end of 2016 after hearing the legend that is Marc Riley playing this song on BBC 6Music. Natalie's voice is ethereal, truely beuatiful in every note. Props to the drummer too, he plays like Ringo. Nuf said.
praying this will be the next big thing
It's already big
my dude she's the best always and forever
YES SHE IS
i can't stop hitting replay
I'm there too. love this song.
It's been 3 years and I am still playing it again and again
Baroque pop at its best
No,..Left Banke has that claim
blasting this thru speaker at 7am. sooo good feeling
This song gives me a major sense of nostalgia. I can’t explain why
at first i was like 'this is alright' but as it goes on it just gets better and better :D i dig it! the flow is strange until it circles around :D
This Is Pure MAGIC!!!!!!

I'm in love with her
The best song of the year! Perfect. Weyes Blood- I love you.
How not to fall in love ?
Samerzz
I love her voice
definition of perfection
Chilling, etherial, and beautiful. I love this album and her, she does such a wonderful job at portraying her emotions - makes it easy to empathize. The tunes really resonate.
This is like my favorite thing ever
Great song, great singing, great mind, great looks. Almost too much perfection to be bearable :-)
Absolutely beautiful
So good. Wish Pitchfork could put up the rest of the session. So well-shot and engineered.

_STEVE POLYESTER_
i was like STEEEEEEEVE POLYESTER when I saw the shirt. is that really an ava luna reference or is it something else?
@@Datpleb idk what that is but may look it up now :D not sure what his shirt means either
@@meinerHeld i thought it was a reference to a song by a band named ava luna. that guy may even be in the band but i didn't find any additional info. Anyway look the band up, they're really good! try their album "infinite house"
I kinda like it tho
