      @banjax66 Před 6 lety +4

      The white square thing he used in video 3 was a Peltier device. You get them in those small 12v travel fridges.
      If you put 12v of power through a Peltier device, one side gets hot and the other side cools down but, if you was to heat up one side and cool down the other (as he did in this video) the Peltier device will generate electricity.
      I'm not sure how much power the Peltier will output but I suppose that may depend on the temperature difference between the two sides. So you will need to keep changing the water as it warms up or put ice cubes in it.

    Structurally the Peltier module is soldered with a solder with a melting point of about 125 degrees Celsius. From the candle, it quickly degrades and becomes unusable.
    The only way to avoid this restriction is to heat the water with a candle and the already heated water will heat the Peltier module no higher than the boiling point of 100 degrees Celsius.

    I dunno bout how that soldering iron heats.. everyone ive ever owned was filled with heat cement and the heat came from a resistive short circuit held in place in the cement, when tge tip is screwed in it brings the heat to a tip and absorbs the heat because its a transmissive metal (tinned copper) and the metal housing the cement is stainless. No comprende that little heat gun.. i just use a cooking torch with a piece of stainless that stands in front of the flame deflecting it so the superheated air coming off if the deflection plate ambiently melts the solder...
