Rizzo was a realist. We need a guy like him today.
Rizzo's police department had the highest percentage of black officers, including higher-ranking ones, of any major city, but he was "racist." Philadelphia had the lowest crime rate of the ten largest cities in the country during his tenure as police chief and mayor, but he was "racist." Rizzo handles the MOVE situation in 1978 by evicting them, while Wilson Goode, the first black mayor, deals with them in the 80s by fire-bombing the entire block, but Rizzo was the "racist." In the late 60s, when blacks were rioting in almost every other major city, there was little to no such looting and violence in Philadelphia...probably because he was such a "racist." Not tolerating crime is obviously "racist."
Amen!
Frank Burns exactly!!
Quote about Looters from Frank L. Rizzo

GOD BLESS YOU MR, RIZZO
Spoken like a true idiot of life that never knew the real man, will pray for your soul as well...
Only a white man or woman could make a statement like this. I cant fault you since you're only saying outloud what lots of other whites think
Just on the humanity side, how can you morally praise a man who was so obviously a bigot and racist to the black community? I guess in your mind he wasnt a bigot, so there it is. Its 2020 and people like you still exist
Not surprised: its folks like you that elected Trump, so nothing, absolutely nothing surprises me about white folks like you
We live in a dangerous world and you ,my friend are part of the reason
No telling what you would condone or support to maintain Rizzos and Trumps"Law and Order".My prayer for you is that God would open your eyes to see all his creation as human beings
God Bless you
@@barrythompson7651 Absolutely agree and I am a 63 year old white man... people like rizzo and trump and the people that follow them are so BLIND to the struggles Black Americans feel in this country every day. I can't feel your pain because I don't live it. Like you, I hope someday we can "all sit at the table of brotherhood" and be free at last!
People like effective leadership and he provided that
This is an intelligent black. Need more of these black leaders.
