#Shaylor #80's #Makeover #Tokyo
You can always tell that Taylor is a model when a camera is around! Knows exactly how to pose :)
This was so much fun!!! So glad you found this for us to try😄🙌🏻❤️ Can’t wait for more adventures together😏
Ah yes, I cannot wait to see your video
You both are so adorbs in this. I love Shaylor goes bad girls. Hilarious! ❤
HI SHARLA!!
and I can't wait to see them
I love how taylor is looking like a professional model and then there’s Sharla just holding a bat looking really angry lmao
Business woman*** more than a professional model
@@breakfastattiffanys741 she has been modeling for ten years i think so it is a habit to pose as she was at work
I love that Sharla's "bad" look is just her utterly confused 😂😂😂
Sharla's bad girl face is the exact face Chris Broad makes most of the time in his vidoes!! LMAO!
I love how this wasn’t just you girls having fun(which i would have loved anyway) but you also explained to us about the 80s economic and it was very instructional!
OMG I LOVE THIS WHEN HE BROUGHT OUT THE BAT 😂😂😂
Already having a sailor moon ref in the beginning 💗💗💗 Yasss 80s fashion! I'm curious about this era in Japan, don't know that much... Thank for this video, informative and cute! 💕 ありがとうございます!
I marked down a new address I should visit if I get to go to Japan someday 🙏
Don’t you mean.... Shaylor moon? 😏
Please take a listen to 80's Japanese city pop! It's literally gold ~
I miss shaylor so much 😭😭😭
His use of the translator device was so cute 🥺😆
The stylist was sooo cute!! What great personalities in there lol.
Agreed!!
Taylor's videos are always fun, a little (okay, a LOT) silly AND very informational/helpful at the same time! :) I love how you explained why the 1980s were so different with the economic bubble and this just makes your content so freakin' good really! I'm never bored because you always a way to make videos uniquely yours! Of course, adding Sharla into the mix just makes everything 1000x better! :)
Gosh I love Sharla !!! Her faces posing are so relatable to us non model human beings hahahha
I didn't know any of that about Japan in the 80's it's really interesting. This video was really cool! Great idea :).
I grew up in the 80's malls were the rage, video games were invented, clothing was bold and fun and B movies were Abundant and hilarious!😂
Damn i would have definitely thrived in that era if only i wasn't born 22 years after the 80s
That intro lol. It looked like such a fun time and a great way to learn more about how Japan was in the 80s.
I felt their fun through the screen 😂💗
Japanese makeovers can be fun, although their hairstyles may look a little different than what we’re used to
Just Some Guy without a Mustache
Agreed. I love Japanese fashion even tho their hairstyles are still stuck in the 2000s
@@TamTam-rq4nc I'd rather have an 80's haircut than that hideous blue/green undercut almost every sjw sports 😂
you're like the new Justin Y.
Very well researched Taylor, good job. I must say it was similar to what happened in the US during the 80s. That lady who said the 80’s was fun, she’s absolutely correct, it was a lot of fun because people experimented w/fashion, music, lifestyles, etc. it was a very positive time.
This video turned out fantastic 10/10! Thanks for giving that background information on the economy. It's super important in order to explain the whole 80's lifestyle. I wish I could see you sing karaoke in those outfits, you were perfect pop idols, so cute together!
I always miss u guys being together :’) 💜
OMG, my mom kept a rotary phone into the 90's, so when she was teaching me how to dial 911 as a toddler, it's like...by the time the wheel resets from "dialing" the number 9, your home has already caught on fire/been robbed/BEEN HIT BY ALL DISASTERS! 😂
It's like a real-life montage out of an 80's or 90's anime! 😍 I love that you shared insight on what Japan was actually like during that time, it helped me to understand what I was seeing in shows and manga as a kid.
omg people in japan and traveling to japan!! please come support the studio theyre so lovely and friendly! we need to support these businesses and not let them die/close
Really fun video and great quick explainer on the economy of Japan during the late 80s - 90s, appreciate that you didn't just ignore that part!
I sometimes forget that Taylor actually understands Japanese
I came here because of Sharla promoting the video; I stayed because both a fun and an educational video. Fascinating background info re: Japan in the '80s. Thank you.
I had to pause and try to remember how to breathe from laughing so hard at that intro. Omfg. That was the greatest thing I've seen in a while.
It’s always interesting to see old trends from different countries ^^
Um, they're both Canadian.
edlaprade ? Yes and?
The Sailor moon music in the beginning. Shaylor gives me LIFE 💖💖💖💖💖💖
That looks like so much fun! You guys are so cute together :)
Aww you guys are so cute together or should I say you guys have the best friendship 😌 makes me really miss mine 💔😭 (she passed away 2 almost 3 years ago) it's been real tuff years for me but seeing both of you guys together makes me remember all the best and good times we spent together ❤️
Eighties japan is one of my favorite aesthetics and I love city pop

This seems so much fun! Also so happy to see you guys making videos together again, can't wait for more Shaylor content in the future!
Literal friendship goals!! 💖 The photoshoot looked like so much fun, it's super interesting learning about 80's Japan too 😍
I LOVE how you gave the historical backround of the 80s 😍 So thoughtful!!
I loveeeeeee Japanese 80s vibes and this new type of video your making 💖💖💖
OMG, this is my fave video from you guys. I grew up in the 1980's and remember seeing stuff like this coming from Japan. Such a cool time to be alive. You two looked adorable in your outfits especially the sailor suits.
Omg those pictures are so cool. The staff was so nice and with the translator machine 😆 Loved the video!!
This is my favourite video of yours Taylor in a long time! It looks like you had so much fun and the idea is so creative. Your photos turned out amazing!

This was so fun to watch and informative at the same time! You guys rock the Japanese 80s style
omg really cool vlog🙊💕 the atmosphere is so positive! and it's also very informative😍 great job! love it❤️❤️❤️
I was a teen in the 80's in Los Angeles, and I was goth. We spent our weekends on Melrose Ave. (in its heyday) and going to what we considered "underground" clubs but compared to what that means now, they were just a lot of fun but in sort of rickety locations downtown, haha. Not truly dangerous. It was a blast though, with the big hair and all that iconic music!
Ahhh that seems so fun!
This vlog was so fun and informative!! I really enjoyed this. During my living in Japan I heard/learned a little bit about the bubble era, but not to this extent or perspective. Now I want to learn more about 80s Japan!💕
I miss your Japan videos! So fun and cute!
Love this! You two always seem to have so much fun together!
Loved this! How fun. And your choice in background music was on point! 🤩
41 seconds into the video and I've already cracked up four times. I love these two! They make me so happy.
sailor moon music in the beginning!! yassss bold colors!! 80s Japanese fashion is my fav!
So cuuuute! Loved it. Missed watching your collab videos! I laughed so hard at the "bad girls" moment - you guys are amazing for running with it hahahah
This video was SO much fun! I would LOVE to take my friends to a Japanese 80’s photoshoot! How freaking cool! 😂💖 And the Sailor Moon intro was eeeeeverything. 👌🏻
this video was really fun
I love Sailor Moon theme at the begining! 💜 So nostalgic
You guys are making me so happy with these Shaylor vids! I seriously love you guys and you guys have literally made my morning once I saw the upload (I was sulking earlier). Thank you guys so much! This video was fun and interesting to watch. I learned a lot :)
"And we make some good babies"
Sharla's face: 😶
Hahahaha
I am a Hafu and was born in Sasebo, then I was 4 when we left the first time. My Dad got stationed in Yokosuka again and I was ages 13 - 17 from 81 - 84. Then joined the USAF and got sent back to Japan from 88 - 91. The 80's were AWESOME. The dance clubs in Roppongi were amazing and my group's usual hangout was Lexington Queen, even met and partied with Bon Jovi there in 89. As for the current idols of the time...Hayami Yu, Nakamori Akina were my favorite idols, though Matsuda Seiko was good too.
This video was so cute and light hearted ! CZcams needed this.
That intro 😂♥️ the photoshoot looks so cool and both of you are so pretty 😍❤️ I was fangirling with the Idol part 😂
Wow that was so interesting and fun to watch while I was doing my sport !!
And it's always fun to see you two together !!! Bisous !!
I love watching both of you together! Keep the videos coming!!!😍🤗☺️
This was such a fun video to watch! Thank you!
Aww, I love it! Such a joyful video. I love your hair like this Taylor 😍
Omg my modern japan history class just reached 1990s i feel like this helped gimme some background deets that we never went over 😂😂💜
that was such a great video. Really good info on the 80's in Japan too!
So happy to see more Shaylor, your friendship brightens my day
I love how he gave you a bat after he saw you trying to fight with the diploma 🗿
😆❤️
Japan in the eighties was crazy. It was a very interesting project.
Now I understand the lyrics of Pizzicato Five Songs thanks to the explanation of the Japanese economy in the 80s. Seriously their early songs make so much sense now hahah
😆👍✨
I miss this energy!!!! Wow! Great video, glad you went more into the history.
Fist time I see her talking, conversing in Japanese, I mean I know she lived several years there but we never really saw her in a conversation I’m very impressed she seems fluent !!
There was that video Taylor made years ago with the room tour all in Japanese. But yeah, the only person to whom she spoke was Rosie.
What are you talking about? she did not speak Japanese at all in this video. she doesn't speak Japanese except for a few sentences and words. Sharla and that App were translating for her. She lived in Japan for 5 years and she's definitely not fluent. when she lived there she tried to learn but quit due simply to laziness. I would expect someone who lived in japan for 5 years to be more fluent.
ogga tf you agressive for ? And tf you expect someone to be fluent lmao every body learns at it’s own rythm she obviously understands a good amount to have a conversation. Take a shit then start commenting nicer.
@@sonia4313 I'm not being aggressive? you're just being overly sensitive..
48sec into the video and my jaws already hurting from laughing/smiling lol I need this xD can’t wait to see the rest of the video xD
Okay! I absolutely loved this episode!
Great video! Informative and nice to watch. The make up artist really nailed Taylors hair. You looked instantly so 80s!
Using Sailor Moon BGM music in the intro. YES.
Omg the photographer was hilarious! Those pictures are SO cute too! I vote for more themed photo shoots in the future!! 😆
Loved this video! I'm a child of the 80s and still love 80s music. Very cute pics!
Love when you two do videos together! ShayLor Rules! Thanks ladies!
This was GREAT 🤪🤩 Taylor and Sharla are literally the best CZcamsrs! 💜
This is so lovelyyyyyy!!! I feel like back to 2016-2017 when we used to have plenty of shaylor vids
I love this video so much!!! So informative. Taylor, you're really amazing!!
I love how you match every style xx
This video was so fun but also educational!! Great job ❤️😊
You guys basically look like the Sailor Moon characters in their day-to-day lives 😄❤
It looks like you two had so much fun! I love when you guys collab💖
OMG YES!!! Sharla 😍 the intro was so awesome !!!!!
