The State of CAHME 2024

The annual State of CAHME. July 16, 2024.
CAHME management and board leadership presented how CAHME is working to fulfill our mission - advance the quality of healthcare management education.
Using the March 2024 independent research study and the 2021 Reimagining the Accreditation Process, presenters examined how feedback from the field influenced CAHME’s strategies and operational effectiveness.
Some key takeaways are:
• Using Robotic Process Automation to super charge the search process on our Core Learning Center.
• Intensive efforts to decrease site visitor inter-rater reliability.
• More advanced benchmarking capability through CAHME’s annual report process.
• Tools and processes that site visitors and program directors can use to minimize accreditation fatigue.
• The status of our 2026 standards update.
• A revised March 23, 2025 Master Class (immediately preceding ACHE Congress) that will integrate experience of programs demonstrating excellence.
