I can relate to this so much. I grew up poor as well but, I am thankful for it, because it saves me a lot of money as an adult, especially when it comes to not wanting to buy something when it comes out, the prices are high, I usually wait until it's near the end of the shelf cycle, get them dirt cheap, second hand. I mean, I am just now buying a PS4 Pro for $200 for the first time, then I will wait until the PS5 pro comes out, a few years after then I will buy it the same way. I never cared about trends, or fashion, I feel more human for that.

Honestly I love the unplanned chaos of this video. Also Growing up poor makes you appreciate what you have more. Rich something breaks you just go buy another. Poor you have to treasure your stuff as there is no replacement if it breaks.
Growing up with no money instilled something in me that I didn’t see until I became an adult. I will say, my parents did a very good job at shielding my sister and I from the real struggle but man, the resiliency I have because of my childhood is HUGE.
Need more of this and we need your dad on the podcast!!
