I hope that woman officer realized eventually how her snitching almost cost her the lives of everyone she cared about.

Makes no sense to me that in a fighter as advanced as the Starfury, the Helmet has no camera to see what the pilot is seeing.
    Even the F35 has that.
    Remember the declassified UFO sightings?

The X35 first flew in 2000. The F35 was invented in 2006. Babylon 5 was produced between 1993 - 1998. Probably not on writers minds. In this fictional universe; maybe helmet cameras were considered too big and clunky? Maybe cough drops weren't invented either? It's a show. Suspension of disbelief helps. 😉

@@adambrown3918 F35's don't have helmet cameras per se. They do have gun cams. Gun cams have been on aircraft since WWII & were activated when firing weapons. Now, missions are recorded through the various sensors as well as all radio traffic in their black boxes although encrypted unlike their civilian versions. The F35 and F22 helmets are basically gun cams as they have only work in IR & night vision for targeting purposes. It allows them to target and lock up a target off bore for missile locking. It also feeds positional info to the computer for targeting through the hull.
Starfury's primary weapons are it's forward cannons. While it has hardpoints for missiles they are more for anti-ship use rather than fighter vs fighter. So an off bore targeting system isn't needed. Especially after the Earth-Minbari war where targeting was near impossible until the invention of the optical targeting systems.

I love how Babylon 5 used The Nightwatch to subtly teach about Fascism.
And this show came before 9/11 and before America’s move towards xenophobia.
