I just got money, they don't understand my hubbies :/ mainly IT, linux, usbc modding, and reusing old electronics like laptops, got enough for the big screwdriver kit, i don't remember the name, and then an ender 3 so that's decent
After 'suffering' with several cheap and bad kits over the years, a couple of years ago I bought my first IFixit kit (the Manta) and was amazed at the difference in bought quality and selection of bits, it was perfect. Never again would I buy any other bit kit.
Still no long extension for the Bit Sets. I own the Manta and you cant even fasten a CPU cooler with that. Any deep recessed screws are out of reach too.
All i need is a smallest screwdriver to open steam deck, asus zephyrus and PS5 for SSD upgrades.. but still looking to buy a whole max set for "what if" situation lol :)
*I just bought the Mako driver kit from Best Buy and it's a nice. I love the small hard case an how the Bits Stick out w/o having them Fall out and I'll be using this took kit A LOT. *
I have your Mako kit. Please consider these criticisms and make a tool kit I can really use and love! 1) The driver shaft rolls all over the place when I set it down. The shaft or its large end needs to be hexagon-shaped. 2) The bits are just too short. I can't even disassemble a Sega Dreamcast! There's absolutely nothing special about such a system and it's disappointing that I can't use my go-to tool kit for stuff like that. Around 8 years ago I paid more than $70 for a now-discontinued precision screwdriver tool kit at Lowes. The price had discouraged me for a very long time, but I frequently found that I needed a set with long bits/shafts. I finally bit the bullet and purchased it. I was relieved it was exactly what I needed and I never regretted the purchase. A couple years later, some of the bits were ruined by an ignorant family member. She put the "precision" flat-head bits in a drill and tried to put large screws into wooden pallets. That kit is discontinued, but still has a page on the Lowe's web site with photos and description. "Kobalt 36-Piece Chrome Vanadium SpeedFit Precision Tool Set" - iFixIt can actually one-up this and do even better. I'd probably pay double to secure another one of those sets if I could find it. The Kobalt kit only has long precision bits for phillips and flat-head. It would be really nice if the torx bits were also long. Also I frequently use with the precision needle file bits when cutting holes for HDMI or mini HDMI (DCDigital and other game console HDMI upgrades), but the idea of using the file bits with the "speedfit" shaft is just silly. There's way too much mechanical slop at the connection to the shaft, so I just hold the filing bits directly.
I really love you guys but the bit set I bought years and years ago has one of the most asinine flaws: the driver is completely smooth apart from 3 thin rubber rings. Applying heavy torque is basically impossible. The saving grace in that regard is that you can insert a bar into the hole at the end of the driver which then allows you to apply massive torque even in confined spaces. Small rant I needed to get out :D Keep on being awesome.
If only iFixit available in Indonesia, I will buy it, Actually I can buy it from US but the shipping will take a long time before it arrive here, because I need it fast.
I do advertise your kits on my comments on youtube and have been doing it for free for a long time! Now you can either give me stocks or explain what is the Hook Driver for! To be honest, I prefer the explanation.
No no no I want an wrench for PC and Smart phone with replaceable bits which can house atleast 64 bits within wrench only no need to carry box. Your product design team really missing that spark.
Such a great lineup of tools!
Overly priced too compared to others.

Ifixit has the best tools.
I received a kit as a gift. It's definitely really useful when taking any electronics apart
I have an older pro kit and I swear that kit has helped me so much
Fun fact: the Mako driver kit's handle can be unscrewed above the serated grip to store up to 2 bits!
Finnaly! A video with the Minnow and Moray Driver kits!
Awesome tool kits, had a pro tech for a number of years now. Excellent quality and built to last.
Have the Mako and I love it.
great video. Helped with my purchasing decision.
I bought manta last month on sale. So worth it. Great quality
LOVE my protech toolkit. It’s what I use to run my cellphone repair shop

Great lineup... When will they be available for purchase?
If I could get one, it would have to be the Manta bit set. I know for a fact that I would need one of every bit at some point.
Ifixit need to make a tool specialize in desktop build and repair. Those screw are larger and need a bigger handle for tightening.
Could I use the manta driver kit for cabinets too ?
I’m trying to buy one Of your sets In Chile 🇨🇱!! But i’s hard to find

I love #iFixit product! ❤🥰
Perfect Manta Driver Kit and Pro Tech Tool Kit ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars products. 👌💪
Does anyone know the best kit? Mainly for replacing fans and installing hard drives / SDD. Any help?
For basic uses such as that, you should use the Minnow kit.
What would be recommended if I wanted to repair a split pad pro for the Nintendo switch?
I'm still using the older version.
I bought a kit, it’s great!
Manta yes that's what I want
Why is there no delivery to Kazakhstan?

would you be able to fix my samsung s8 +
They don't fix phones. They sell tools and parts so that you can do it yourself.
TIL that my iFixit screwdrivers hold bits....
Their battery died after 4 months. Too bad, I was excited and installed 2.
What to do if I punctured 7 plus battery? There was a strong smell
Help please
Fresh air is enough for health?

This is really boring, you guys need to have JayzTwoCents make your ads, like he did in his video!
Very bad quality tools, the star type one for opening iphones wore off completely in 2 weeks. Softest metal ive ever used. Dont waste your money.
Contact I fix it. They will send you a new one for free
Your kits are overly expensive compared to others
Can you guys get a new narrator?? This guy sounds like a proctologist giving me some bad news 😞
