A lifelong friend of mine had his picture taken with Sid-clown make-up and all. Arms around each other. Both smiling ear to ear. My great friend died a couple years back. May they both RIP. I bet they are laughing together as I write this!

Yes, he did! "Spider Baby" is a 1968 black comedy horror film, written and directed by Jack Hill. And Sid Haig was in it, with Lon Chaney Jr. Both are great in the one...
SId seemed like a really decent, charismatic guy in real life. Yet he could play a violent sociopath with relative ease. A testament to his great acting skills. RIP Sir Haig.
