Uphill bike ride from Nojima Park to the Condo "Park House" in Oppama, Yokosuka.

First, I’m riding to the Nojima Park on Nojima, a small island in Yokohama, where you’ll see Nojima no Entaigo, a former air raid shelter for fighter aircrafts. The shelter was being built (dug) until June 30, 1945, just a month and a half before the end of the war, record indicates. It is not permitted to go in there today. From there I’m heading to Oppama Yokoska, along the Takatori river. Then the uphill ride continues up to the park where you’ll enjoy a nice view. The downhill is quite enjoyable including turning around a hairpin curve.

野島の掩体壕のあたりは戦時中は海軍横須賀航空隊追浜飛行場があった今の日産自動車工場、新型機の開発を
行っていたロケット戦闘機「秋水」も飛んだところ。
