    Excellent video, as always Man.
Before I forget to say something I got an email there's a/some companies that have their Pin-On front forks on clearance or a dam good sale if I recall correctly it was like $335 ish delivered.
Be ideal for your hay, but as you know then you loose the pure utility of the bucket.
Hopefully your video clearly showing the vaunted 1050 lifting WET round bales clears up some of the "online" crowd insisting our tractors don't have the lift capacity....morons are never in short supply.
Also a while ago I mentioned I have had excellent results running the VP Ultra J20A Plus fluid with Lucas Hydraulic Oil booster&Stop leak. I was abit skeptical as it was genuine John Deere Hydraulic Oil in there which is optimized for power, clean, moisture all that jazz.
Realistically I have no proof no actual increase I was able to measure, and many "miracle additives" make you believe it's working but in reality no better/different than normal. But my Wife was helping me a day after the oil service to spread gravel in our walkway out front, it was wet and full bucket was atleast 1600 ish pounds (1 yard with moisture is about 3000+ pounds) so the last run of the walkway was what we were doing. The cycle time seemed just a bit snappier for lack of a better term and abit faster, but digging into and lifting outta the pile it was noticable. The brand new clean filter will make a difference but Man I've never had a difference like that before honestly I just wasn't expecting it but very much happy with and from then on its ALL I will run. The limited use it seems in winter was great too, but still our heavy Iron Horses here are very well known to be Cold Blooded too the furthest extent.
Glad to see everything working out/running Great. Can't wait too see the Joystick install and use God dam that'll be awesome 👍 hell I wonder if you'll see an improvement of power/responsiveness being less restrictive
Long winded I know, but you're legitimately the top dog for videos on the 1050 and very similar use
    👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

      Wow, excellent post, thank you!
Yesterday I was trying to lift some logs with the 1050 and new forks. They were way too big and to my surprise, the back tires came off of the ground! Not sure what lift force is required to do that but to say the least, I was a bit startled as it happened pretty quickly. Definitely had to weigh more than the round bales.
Weather here's been up and down, rain and snow, warm and cold but once it settles down I'm going to tackle the joystick install. It's been gnawing at me and I can't wait to get that project done.
Love my little JD 1050 and will keep it alive as long as I can afford to.
      Thanks again for this comment!!
