I legitimately hope that this game doesn’t turn into a DPS check in the future. I really like stalling, debuffing, and just surviving tactics in this game

In Simulated Universe, it's what you can expect: stalling, debuffing, survive tactics.
Memory of Chaos is a DPS check due to limited amount of turns.
The good thing about HSR compared to Genshin is that we have content for both rn. SimU can facilitate tankier builds (especially w/ Abundance and Preservation), while MoC is like the Spiral Abyss, where all it cares about is how fast you can kill shit.
simulated universe kinda has a soft dps check w/ the enrage timer but i've never triggered it even when i went almost all abundance for world 6, kinda funny
Fire MC and Natasha have saved so many of my runs just by existing together. I'm really glad there's another gacha where the free MC is a top tier team shielder and tanker like Mash 🥰

@@joaquinchua3348 I used path of Destruction with those two and beat World 5 w/ lv 50 units. I didn’t want to stall out the fight too long to let her ramp up her permanent dmg bonus effects. The Destruction thing hits hard.
@@AeliusSky the thing is the preservation path hits as hard or harder, while giving you the defence, even more so in world 5 when there is a preservation buff that cleanses you when you gain a shield, which works with the mind control. Thats how i was able to beat it at least

Clara is the Beidou of Star Rail but way fluffing stronger.
Seele and Bronya are so strong together especially with Seele's bonus attack resurgence, and having Natasha at E6 makes things a lot easier 😂
Clara has carried me to victory many times when I thought I was going to lose because of the insane counter attacks
Honestly, i want a full Qingque breakdown if possible, her Mahjong mechanic is fun but optimizing skill usage and damage seems hard.
From what i get after maining her for the past day is, use speed stuff to your another character and make her do the last turn that way she can have like 3mahjong ready and higher chance getting enhanced attack.
After using her enhanced attack just use her ultimate to restore her mahjong stacks and do following enhanced attack again.
Use support speed like bronya, asta, tingyun for making her kinda hypercarry.

With Tingyun and Nat on the same team you have more than enough skills to try your luck but imo it's better to just roll once or twice every once in a while and get the ult as soon as possible. There have been times where I got all for tiles naturally and the ult right after and its so satisfying
You can’t optimize RNG
Rng will always be an issue but the thing is, even if you don't get her enhanced auto, she still can deal a lot of quantum damage thanks to her damage multiplier she gets every time she uses her skill. Like her enhanced attacks are almost Selle level and her unenhanced attacks still hit pretty hard thanks to the self buff. The trade off is that she is a dps you want to max her auto attack because it directly contributes to her dps unlike other dps characters.
@@nweiioonn6007 the fact Qingque has both the functionality of a 3* and a 6* hero at the same time is ironically hilarious for both giga chad Yay and Nay reasons.
Before I played the game I was like Gepard who? Now I’m so glad I got him as my first 5 star he’s literally perfect I couldn’t have asked for a better pull. Plus his idle animation is so adorable!
I just got Gepard today and he already saved my as* so many times. I'm a Zhongli main so I really appreciate Gepard's thick shield

So glad Gepard is getting love. He was my beginner 5* and is carrying me in the hardest content. For some reason the game also gave me his E1 and 5* light cone so he just infinitely taunts/freezes and can solo sustain teams with his shields.
If you need an idea for guide content: Paths for Simulated Universe (and maybe if one is better for certain worlds over others/ certain team archetypes). I havent really seen anyone talk about this in depth and I know Ive only tried a few of the paths.
I don't know if u knew about this already but, path of abundance are really good for under lvl clears in worlds 5-6. I would go with picking resonant formation Anatta 1st then picking up Annica for the 2nd one. Keep in mind that the clear will be longer, one other thing to note is needing to killing bronya 1st when u reach the 2nd hp bar for Cocolia in world 6
destruction is the best balance between damage and safety and abundance is the safest. Hunt only scales well well with built characters but high damage
world 4 hunt ,world 5 abundance and world 6 hunt path
Honestly they’re all really good and depends on what you want and what teams you are using. For example, if you use someone like Sampo or Hook, the nihility one is pretty insane. If you get some of the nice buffs, you pretty much just have to survive and they will just die off dot effects alone while dealing 0 damage and giving your team full energy.
I would think that you choose the path of the character you want to get advantage. Seele for example you should pick hunt because it gives her more turns. Clara is good with elation because its gives buffs to follow up attacks which she does. I would say there isnt a right answer. The fun is you making weird builds so characters get stronger. Its not that hard that you need to sweat and tryhard with a spreadsheet.

Yep agreed with Bronyas turn advancement being absolutely clutch in harder content. I was about to die to cocolia so I moved up my bailu and that allowed me to full heal my team and prevent an instant wipe. An amazing character I always make sure to fit in her in any team I make.

I'd really appreciate a Yanqing guide. I have Seele but I also really enjoy Yanqing and think he's cool, so a video on how to make him work would be useful. I've seen a lot of other people who pulled him as well and could use it. Really guides for all the standard 5 stars would be neat.
As far as yanqing goes, you'd want the blizzard set, either the 5 star lc from the shop or his own 4 star lc, pair him with march or fire mc and make sure his passive is always up. With bronya you can do alot of dps straight away. While he is not as good at seele at clearing he can have very similar dps output with stoulseel sync and his ultimate.
@@505reaper8 Blizzard set is actually worse performing than 2pc/2pc on him. This is why I think a guide would be good, there are a lot of misconceptions surrounding him and his power level that make him deserving of a deeper dive
Me too. I was using him with March Seven but her passive was taunting the attacks to Yanqing and his passive was useless. I just got gepard and I fuckin love him. Rn I play Gepard, Yanqing, Tingyun, Natasha

@@505reaper8 march is not ideal for yanqing bc u want the dmg away for him to keep his skill buffs up, but with march's shield, it taunts enemies to attack him instead, fire mc or gepard (moreso gepard) are your best in slots along with tingyun/bronya/pela
@@cronchee Yeah just mentioned march since most people using yanqing are newer players without fire mc yet. But if you have fire mc it pairs up much better especially because tha taunt and yanqings passive means he almost never gets hit, adding on the landaus choice lightcone on top of that make it a really good pairing.

Mission failed successfully - Sushang hit 11.8k with her burst today and cried for 15 minutes because of that. I was trying to showcase my Seele (Without fox lady character(i don't have her))

What do you use? With Bronya Pela and Asta I was able to hit 20k with Seele at lvl 50, she had her sig light cone 100% crt damage and 30% quantum damage

Thanks for mentioning Gepard. He was my 50 roll 5 star and his shield protected my whole team though basically everything.
Meanwhile everyone is telling me to use healers and when I did, they died XD.
You don't need to heal if all dmg is mitigated by a shield, plus March, who counters if enemies hits her shield, counters off Gepards team shields, so you'll see a lot more of March countering.

Before I read up on anyone's kit, I just wanted Bronya because I liked her a lot in Honkai 3rd. I got her as my first guaranteed 5*, and oh boy, she's lived up to everything I wanted her to be. She and Seele are the deadliest of girlfriends. Now I'm going for Welt because he's also a chad in Honkai.
I can't believe that Gepard, Fire MC and Sampo helped me through SW 3 just cuz of shield stalling so much with Path of Preservation.
Tingyun is just too good.
I got her and Bronya, so suffice to say that physical MC was dishing out the homeruns very early on. But unlike Bronya, you're much more likely to get our foxy lady as the pool of 4 stars is still small due to the game just launching. As an experienced Genshin Impact player, I'd give the advice to always check the store to see if you can get a copy of Tingyun from the monthly resets.

If I don’t pull Tingyun soon I’m def picking up a copy from the shop. You honestly don’t even need her Eidolons, she’s already insanely good at E0. The eidolons just give you more energy which is nice but not necessary.

so i got bailu on seele banner and on the standart banner, so she is E1 (my other 5* are Seele and Welt). I've been using Bailu constantly (even more cause i got upset to get her E1) but i didnt't build Natasha at all yet, i only got her to lvl 40 for the free wishes. is she better in simulated universe world 5 because of her physical damage?
Clara is my first 5 star. She's great. I love how she counters every time she gets attacked..

Sampo was also used to reach some of the highest ranks in Memory of Chaos as well. Although it probably had to do with his element being wind and enemies at that level having weakness to wind.
Just for information is the team at 0:59 good ? Cause I have all the characters for it but idk if I should replace my Dan Heng for Seele…

i pretty much benched gepard once i got fire mc for general play, but i have pulled him out for double shielder shenanagins in simulated world. enemies will murder themselves with quake damage if you go preservation path.

I got Bronya in my second 8 pull from the starter banner and was very happy as I liked her design and had not been that lucky with the starter banner in genshin
The next day I was doing pulls on the seele banner and on the third pull clicked skip and got Seele - I feel like this account has good luck

I invested so much time into Pela and was disheartened to see her getting a lot of hate honestly. So I’m glad that she’s actually getting recognized as a good character. My team is Seele, Natasha, Bronya and Pela. It’s my favorite team and I can clear a lot of content with them. Though I do swap characters frequently so that way I get a chance to play every character. I really like Sampo’s playstyle also!
So as a new player, can i still get seele? Like can i still pull her from some sort of summon? I don't have a quantum damage dealer yet so it would be great to have her!
Natasha cleanse is bonkers. Helped a lot on simulated world 5 kafka mind control. you don't have to get abundance path just to clear it(very slowly). i just get hunt all the way and speed run the thing with well timed Natasha skills

I have Yanqing and honestly, he’s been pretty awesome. I get he might not be as consistent as some of the other 5* characters but I love my little guy!
Yeah people are actually underestimating him , i have him aswell at Lv.60 currently with his Ice Set + 2 pieces of Legendary Crit Dmg set.
With Tingyun buff i constantly dish out 35k crits with his ult ... his multipliers are insane, he just needs some investment
Edit: Same with Arlan, he hits like a truck, especially with his Light Cone and doesnt even need Skill points for his skill
@@combobreaker1059Thing about Arlan I built him and used him I thought he was crazy good with how much damage I was doing but then I built Susheng and Seele and Hook too. Only after using this 3 did I realize how low Arlan’s damage actually is compared to others. It feels like a lot but for some reason it’s actually not very good lol. Yanqing looked like such a good unit and I read the last line of his passive that he loses all buffs when he gets hit and I never looked at him ever again. Why’d they have to do that it’s so sad.
@@07Lightless You can easily play around that with Shields, only if he loses HP those buffs go away.
I have both Seele and Yanqing maxed and almost optimised Equip for them, Seele is better for cleanup while Yanqing actually deals more Damage to bosses because you can easily go Full Crit Damage without needing Crit Chance at all.
His Dmg Multipliers are pretty insane.
Also Arlan can deal more Damage aswell, its just harder to achieve because you need him Low HP to dish out some crazy numbers.
But like i said, his strenght is that he doesn't need to consume skillpoints and can just spam his Skill
@@combobreaker1059 I don’t like units who force you into such a one directional playstyle or they become not that great. Also about the shielding, it feels like an unreliable strategy because when you’re trying to do harder content underleveled the enemies break your shields in one hit anyways.

My 1st standard banner 5 star.
Then a minutes later the server went down. I'm so glad it was after my pull.
Currently completed up to World 6 and Stage 12 in forgotten halls here's my short takes on the top 10
10. Clara - One of my favorite characters for all content great bruiser being both tanky and doing great damage.
9. March 7th - Haven't built fully but will use her when 2 teams are needed in halls
8. Gepard - Don't own but would likely use if/when pulled
7. Tingyun - Best buffer and great for cycling ults, combos well with Selee as well
6. Natasha - Probably tied with MC for best F2P unit and can be used everywhere as 1 of 2 healers currently out
5. Fire MC - Best F2P unit imo, amazing tank and easy to build with free C6, taunt is undervalued
4. Bronya - Don't have can't say too much I like her skills
3. Pela - Great that she can strip buffs and has an aoe def debuff the freeze is good too
2.Welt - Don't have, but only imaginary unit atm and has good ult from what I know
1. Seele - Absolutely insane, but I could see her getting power crept later on
I have both seele and yanqing, and both have their own uses, yanqing doesn't have the same extra turn mechanic, but has passives for not getting hit that make him absolutely insane if you can keep enemies away from him. His overall damage is absolutely insane.

Gepard was my first 5 star pull very early in the game and he has CARRIED me through the entire game. His shielding is so strong.

I got Bailu as my free 5-star, and won Seele in about 40 pulls. So I got my hyper carry team pretty early on.

Yanqing is used in the highest content CONSTANTLY with Gepard. How would you not have him here? I see him way more than Welt or Pela.
My favorite character is Herta, her on field time really chips away at enemies but I'm also only lol 30. Going to give Pela more love though after seeing this

I can see how gepard is valuable but in SU i barely used him cause the last bosses dont have ice weakness
imo physical mc is a very good damage dealer too! high talent multiplier and bleed
Got clara as my first 5star and max her out feels weak at the start but rumps up when I got fire MC got 2x when wishing again from the bottom after getting seele on my 31 pull on her that 1 pull made my day XD
clara / mark / seele / natasha or gepard / seele/ natasha / tingyun ??? since equilibrium 1 the game became alot harder and i feel like my clara damage became way too weak so i was thinking about removing her and mark for gepard and tingyun that i got recently
Once you start equilibrium 1, you have to start grinding relics and leveling them up. The game gets a lot harder until you do. Some of the shops should have some relics for you to buy and you also get relics from leveling up your trailblazer rank.
Clara and Fire MC should not be on the same team. Clara wants all the aggro and Fire MC takes aggro away from her. Your Clara team should be Clara/Natasha/March 7th/Tingyun. Tingyun should be buffing Clara, March 7th should use her shield on Clara so they're more likely to target Clara and Natasha should heal the team as needed.
I got gepard as the 5 star from the cheap banner and I knew from that point on I had a strong character. He’s saved many a character with his shield and as I slowly work my way through the game I just see him becoming stronger and stronger. I don’t see an issue with his energy recharge because I have enemies attacking him like crazy due to a LC. But if I had to pick between Clara or welt as my free option, and no I haven’t spent money on the game, which would be the better choice?
My beginner 5 star was Gepard. I didn't have Natasha yet and I saw that you really want energy on him for the shields. That's when I found the value of Tingyun for that energy pop,damage buff, AND extra lightning attack with Benediction. She really is the Honkai Star Rail Benny/Xingqui. I'd say the best utility character so far. I lost my Seele 50/50 and got Clara. The March 7th/Clara combo is straight busted. Clara's ult is just insane damage and multi target hit. I've cleared everything so far after I pulled her with the March/Clara/Natasha/(Flex) team with next to no trouble.
In turn-based game, any character that can attack outside of your turn, stop the enemy’s turn, or give additional turn to your unit are really strong.

@@dr3d882 Bruh I am literally the only person without a Bronya it's crazy.. But anyway I think building Dan Heng would be kinda pointless since you have Seele. If you plan to get Jing Yuan, it seems pointless to build Serval as well. I heard Sushang is really good, and I honestly meet a lot of enemies with physical weakness (I play Clara) so she seems to be a good choice. But don't blindly listen to me, I'm by no means a pro. Try to collect more opinions to make up your mind

I started playing HSR yesterday and was blessed with a Welt from the beginner's banner and a Seela from my first 10-pull with the special pass. I also got a couple Pelas in that period and 5-6 Lightcones, one of which turned out to be the best 4* for Seela (Subscribe for more). I was just lvl 11. Now I'm lvl 19 and still every fight seems trivial with those guys. I think I have the most blessed account, things couldn't have gone better.
Can i ask if i have selee which debuffer is better for more dps welt or pela? Cause its either slowing enemy ang giving selee more hits or doing pela -30% def with selee dmg. I failed the 50-50 and got welt so im pretty sad.
Why are you sad to get Welt he is top 3 best 5 stars probably easily and has the coolest animation in the game right now. I would 100% use welt because he will bring support abilities on top of imaginary damage which nobody else can do. Pela is ice and most units in this game are ice so her value goes down compared to welt’s in that regard.
@@07Lightless cause I failed the selee banner 50-50 and I needed a DPS. I have too much survivability with Nat and gepard but I wanted selee. However after asking on disc I do like welt cause his slow is strong with many other things. I just wanted selee. Tho a welt + selee team is gonna be op with gepard and nat
