Generations of children treasured Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, whose creator Fred Rogers spent his early years in the shadow of Saint Vincent College. Before he went home to God, Mister Rogers left his papers to the College, forming the cornerstone of the Fred Rogers Center for Early Learning and Children's Media.
Watching him made me feel safe whenever I felt alone. He taught me to be kind to others and I will never forget that.
Awh, am I the only one to cry when i watch him!? I miss him so much!!!

What a wonderful man, giving kids just what they need. A warm, calm, relaxed educational environment and most of all, telling them that they're special just for being them and to be tolerant and friendly toward everyone. I worry that in the age of facebook and rising self-importantance if we'll ever see his excellence again.
@WeMakeWaffles I don't doubt you.
I still cry seven years after his passing. Because when I grew up few people told me that they loved me just the way I was...I'm crying as I type this and I'm not ashamed to admit that.
im still waiting for him to come back with his new ideas. ://
I miss him!
His outfits are always fresh.
Oh wow! Actual kids shows! Too bad they don't have these kind of shows anymore.

I miss Mr Rogers. The world is worse for his loss. I never knew him RL.. but loosing him was like loosing a beloved uncle who although you didn't see him often would brighten up your day every time you did.
