When I first saw the DLC, I wasn't set on buying it. I rarely use calls or bows. But seeing this gun perform...I need it! I love lever actions and guns that cover multiple animal classes
That's funny, I'm more so excited for the caller and bow myself. Little something for everyone I suppose
I'm of the belief that the lever guns in this game need a once-over. I mean, the irons alone on the 45-70 makes me ill at ease looking through 'em.

They should have included a .357 lever action in this pack to go along with the 44. They should also consider tweaking the .357 to be classes 2-7 instead of it's current 2-6.

this is my main rifle, with airgun, and 22lr rifle. on reserves with class 9 - i just use the class 9 bow and arrow

The drop is insane for rifle speeds in a .44 zeroed at 100 yards 150 should only be 5 inches of drop
They really need to scrap the soft nose 45-70 and add a hard cast round
That would be 75-80% of the 470, but 3 rounds with a scope.
My name concern is if the developers make and update that downgrade the guns stats

I know this is six months old so maybe you've got your answer but commenting anyway in case others have the same question in mind. There is no comparison. Moradi is better. That 70 penetration for the 44 flats are insane! It really is more a woods gun due to that loop trajectory. But again, that penetration is insane.

You should compare to the 45-70. I think the 45-70 needs a buff and it seems like this may be better. 45-70 is a pretty huge cartridge.
I just used the 45-70 for the first time in a while and yeah…it sucks. This thing seems amazing though!

Sweet a new DLC I'ma get it when it releases cause I like using the bows and a 6 shot does make it useful for wolves but I don't know when it releases or what all it has yet cause I just now saw this

A .44 Mag with more power than a .308, a .45-70, or the already overpowered .30-06...
Looks like COTW has growing balancing problems.
The 454 that has more power than the .300 or .338..
The 30-06 is not overpowered in this game. If anything it is underpowered. No reason that .308 should have better stats than the 30-06.
I agree with the 45-70. That gun should hit harder.
A .44!Mag usually have a 240 grain load, up to 300 or bit more in Ruger sa.
.-45-70 405 grain to 500 grain,,but lot of modern loads are 300 -350 grain .

Its absolutely wild that they made this so powerful. The fact it goes to class 8 while the Mosin is only 7 is insane and very disappointing

I’m disappointed in the new lever gun caliber, I would have preferred a 45-70 rework but I understand why they chose the .44
I’m using the Modari to hunt moose, getting double lung penetration and finding vital blood at impact point but on trail it’s low bleed and 0% quick kill. Is this how the rifle/ammo is supposed to work? 338 single lung shots kill faster?
organ penetration does not translate to faster kills unfortunately in this game. So far I think 300 is still undoubtly the king if moose regardless of distance. it has far shorter kill distance than moradi despite like you said double lung penetration
Can you put the red raptor on the lever action?

Мне кажется что это лучшая винтовка в игре. Но не могу понять почему не включили 9 класс. Она бы бизонов прошивала как арбалет. Как-то не логично что плосконосые пули пробивают на уровне стрелы и не видят преград
Как может винтовка с небольшим стволом и плосконосыми револьверными пулями пробивать оленей и медведей на уровне арбалета??? Это магия?

does anyone else feel like a lot of the dlc items should not be dlc items and should be in base game? for instance tents and tripods and even the eclectic caller
if .44 penetrate like that 300magnum must 3 moose side by side.from 500m ok can be ! this COTW world but If we compare it with other cartridges and rifles, what f is this. It's so bad because .other lever actions 243 .270 and .223 7magnum .338 are free rifle cartridges. I have all the DLCs in the game, i want realistic and enjoyable game .can better balance the game by considering real life performances.They should make bullet DLC for free weapons. Let's get rid of it, im tired of this bullshits, damn it.Anyone can make the same weapon with 30-30 or 45-70 by MODing it.They don't buy DLC anyway.
