  • Breeo Fire Pit Surround. We ordered the Breeo Insert Ring for our Breeo X24 and built a Fire Pit Surround with blocks from home depot. Building the Breeo Brick Fire Pit Surround was incredibly easy minus the heavy lifting.

    Just what I want! I like the refined look of a permanent built-in fire pit but also like the more modern look a portable stove gives.. This is a happy medium! Very helpful video. Very much enjoyed it and inspired me. Thanks for sharing it.

    Exactly the video I needed. Just purchased the X24 and I am excited to get it set up with a similar surround.

    I plan on building a very similar surround for my Breeo, but plan on omitting the rectangular brick on the bottom row to provide more air flow into the bottom of the Breeo.

    Great video. Two questions (1) is the ring holding the Breeo several inches above the patio causing the ring to bend or are the legs sitting on supports? And (2) did you decide on how to protect the patio…. How would fire bricks be?

    Does this reduce whatever little radiant heat the fire puts out on the side? Also, does the pit still gets enough airflow?

      @TwistedMexi Před 2 lety +2

      airflow yes, the ring is designed to allow air under. Bricks will remove all radiant heat below the opening on all firepits.
      You might be able to counteract this by putting a few airflow vents in not for air, but to hopefully let some of that radiant heat out.

    Looks great but the patina Breeo is so nice looking! Feel sad covering mine up

    Hey Rich, talking about heat radiation, this "brick mode" would make the radiation worse, less warmth, am I right? regards from Brazil!

      yes absolutely. and the bricks keep you back a little further as well. Sacrificing a bit to have the aesthetic.

    Q1: Can you use the grill accessory with this setup?
    Q2: If you can use the grill accessory with the insert, if you covered the grill with something like aluminum foil and kept it a height so as not to impact it, would it throw the hot convected air outward rather that directly upward?

    Really liking your channel. Do you find this is still smokeless. If not do you think removing some of the smaller brick from the bottom would help? Also do you have a like to Breeo that gives you any help for your channel? I am getting ready yo buy the X24

      Thanks for the kind words! I have yet to remove any bricks to get the built-in X24 to go smokeless. How do you clean it? Do you have to take the whole thing out?

    great a fire pit that does not provide much heat...but you can look at the flames and make marshmallows. When i burn wood its mains reason is to project as much heat as possible, but some people apparently just need the aesthetics. Ok, to each his own.

      @Itshimitshim Před 2 lety

      This gets extremely hot. It just does not radiate. The technology is perfect for cooking or a burn barrel, just not for getting cozy :(
