@@PianowithPano I'm a big fan from Medleys. An Unplugged - House Medley would maybe work. There is a version of the song "Beggin' " from Dame Dame that explain what I mean.

@@PianowithPano As a German I can tell you that we always say something like that every year. But do you really think there are enough people who say “Wow this song/performance is AMAZING. I vote for this” when there are 25 other good performances? I doubt it, it’s giving me James Newman vibes 🥲 I’m always trying to be a bit optimistic but as a Eurovision fan I just can’t do this anymore with our own entries 😭 I just really fear the 0 points this year especially because I can’t hear the “but we had such a good song, everyone just hates us” comments from the German public anymore…
Btw could you maybe do a cover of Oh boy by Ryk if you have the time to as well? It was my favorite song 🥹🙏🏼
@sp9459 I have the feeling that this song will do better as we might think. I believe it from a purely musical point of view: Isaak's song has differences in dynamics and musical style between verses and chorus. The rhythm is captivating and uplifting! Plus, his voice is amazing. Newmann's song, without wanting to demean it, was flat and musically uninteresting.
I listened to all the songs of the German final (very carefully and consciously as a musician), and I think this was the best choice. Ryk's song sounds very promising at the start, but from the middle, it gets muddled, I can't distinguish the chords from the heavy reverb, and the melody gets blurry. This contrasts with the purity of the music. But I still believe it's a good song, and I love Ryk's voice and his personality. (He is from Hannover💕, from the city where I studied music)
