    Great video. BTW, the Drift King's name is pronounced "Kay - ichi Tsu-chi-ya". You also had his picture on screen instead of Satoru Nakajima's at 6:55. But aside from that, it was a video worthy of the legendary NSX.

    But I do have things you could improve though.
    First is memorizing the script more. I'm not good at this either so who am I to say, but it does come off as unprepared.
    Second is getting names right. The Japanese driver was Satoru Nakajima, not Nakajimi (also, not shown correctly on screen), and Gordon Murray's name spelling.

It humiliates all the exotic cars we once thought were quick including multimillion dollar hypercars! The NSX is beautiful but dramatically underpowered compared to the Plaid. Um, I would like to say that the NSX is STILL more reliable than modern super cars! Modern super cars became a bit easier to drive, and more comfortable....but they did not get more reliable because, if they did, there would be more of them actually being driven. Lamborghini and Ferrari have NEVER truly cared about making reliable cars, they just make art pieces and that is the end of it. Ferrari himself, only cared about racing and practically hated his customers that bought the road cars. Ferrari never really bothered to step up their reliability on the road because their customers rarely drive their cars. And, those that did try to drive their cars regularly found very quickly their cars were, well, garbage even now.

    Car Design story - I worked with a guy who worked at Rover-Honda 80s era. The designs were a joint venture with the two brands, just look at the history.
    The NSX was actually the MG EX-E (I think it’s called) concept from the 80s. Look at the proportions/design and it’s clearly the NSX. He said the Honda partnership went sour and Honda had all these ideas that they stole.
    The story goes that they went to pinifarina with all these designs to clean up and come up with a slightly different modded version as the Rover studio were basically designing the Honda cars before.
    This chap was one of the designers on the EX-E and said how over night the guys in Honda basically stole their design/idea to produce there own supercar.
    As a automotive designer, it pains me to say this happens quite often in our field.
    But if you get a chance to edit the video, add a little mention to the MG concept from the 80s

      @driftindonuts  Před 2 lety +1

      That is very interesting in all my research I hadn’t heard that story but after looking into it the proportions are bang on. @@driftindonuts Definitely! Fantastic video btw, try to get some designers if you can during that time. If you ever get a chance to do the S2000, that will be fantastic. One on the best car designs imo. Story goes that was inspired by a caterham, I think it’s in some Japanese Honda S2000 book when the car was released in the 90s. Designed by Pinifarinna too in mid 90s and the volumes and stance still stand good today. Compared to its rivals at the time it was way ahead.
